That's the nature of VC. All the high profile investors and advisors in Reserve don't guarantee success, but it shows that there's strong consensus that it's a strong project.

Their mainnet is launching in September yet that doesn't stop the Chromia COO and CEO to regular update the community about events they attend, meetups, workshops, seminars, engaging with their community regularly, two new exchange listings since holding their ieo - and they had their ieo around the same time as reserve.

A, B are correct. C too is correct to a degree. Closing shop and running away is so 2010. Exit scams these days are more subtle. They need to keep the pretence of "working" so the delay will be because they need a lot more time to get everything right, etc. Bs after bs and repeated delays to keep the illusion alive. Eventually you'll just give up and move on tired of the multiple delays. Meanwhile they'll continue putting out sporadic statements once every other month, the bare minimum to avoid accusations of being an outright scam.
