My best friend and I bought 500k xby each for like $1500. I turned that into about 10k and was like I’m done with this shady ass scam. My friend held all the way till it was worth $500k. He’s still holding today and it’s worth about 10k and probably couldn’t sell more than $1000 of it.

Bought my first full BTC at $1200. Thought I overpaid
Then bought another at $2300 thought I overpaid.
Eventually I have $30k invested and it dropped in half and I felt like an idiot and all my bosses and coworkers were laughing at me for doing something so stupid.
I kept DCA’ing in because fuck it, it’s only money and we are all going to die and be forgotten anyway.
At 16,500 /BTC - $17,000 I had $300k in my Blockfolio. I sold 6 BTC because my boomer coworkers were asking how to buy it, one guy wired 250k into coinbase to buy ETH at 1200 etc.
I sold and then used those funds to pay taxes, refinance my home, and DCA’ed into bitcoin over the entire crypto winter.

Good timing. I still have my bag. It's just a little short of enough to buy a Lvl 3 static node. I've basically chalked it off as a loss. It'd be very surprising to see it return, but it's still chugging along so who knows

I agree that they didn't know what they were in for. A lot of their previous efforts either failed or hit the wall as they were trying to figure it all out and a lot of people were very angry with all the sudden changes.
I gotta hand it to them for sticking with it even after it became one of the biggest jokes in the space and every single exchange they were on either got hacked or couldn't be bothered to update the wallet for a year.
They still manage to retain a dedicated community of people and some decent talent.
It was pretty cool to see CCR and Borzolam do that short video.
