And I think you tend to get altcoin season after you have a bull run in bitcoin. But since so many missed this bull run, it’s kind of just perhaps getting started now, then maybe a year after its run, people look for alternatives enough to have a run on the altcoins. And I don’t think it will be the same altcoins, I think it will be new altcoins. Why? Because everyone who bought and got rekt is sell pressure now, because they bought higher. There’s a lot of people holding bags from higher who are happy to get out at break even after sitting through all the pain. But when you get into a new coin, that doesn’t have a bunch of bag holders from higher, then it’s easier price discovery with less people pushing the price down with their heavy bags.
Another alt season doesn’t have to happen. If google searches don’t pick up, if retail doesn’t pick up, then I don’t think that larger entities are trying to get into shitcoins. And that’s the reason that bitcoin has out performed them all recently (nearly all of them). So alt season is not a guarantee, and I think maybe a year and a half from now if we get one"…

Buying bitcoin early isn't luck, you have to be a total shitcoiner loon to say something like that. Still not a single rebuttal to the actual topic in the OP just a bunch of overly defensive saltcoiner personal attacks.
I was there watching when his description of the nature alt season play out. Fuck load of people entered crypto just from hearing about it from their smarter bitcoin friends or acquaintances who got in much earlier, their initial motive feeling being jealousy and not genuine curiosity.
I was at a web development bootcamp talking about enjoying the bitcoin moonage when it was first crossing through the 3k and 4k range, and the conclusion of many of the total noobs I spoke to was that they were too late on bitcoin so they should buy something else. They knew nothing about bitcoin really but were quick to the conclusion that they had missed the boat due to basic bitch shit like $ per unit bias.
They then did some reddit style research and started trying to emulate the revolutionary tone that the initial bitcoiners had when shilling their altcoins. They were incentivized to mimic bitcoiners, Andreas Antonopolous was a huge influence on this crowd but he's a real mixed bag in terms of his understanding and so has hyped a lot of people on a bunch of fallacious narratives over the course of his public speaking career.
Why not just post a selfie pic of the tears streaming down your faces while you're at it. Embarrassing. You fags deserve to get totally ruined.
