A few of you may remember me from a few weeks ago. I'm the idiot who accidentally may have leaked too much source information and got spooked from people calling me a retard for it. Understandable.
Anyways since it's August now I figured I'd give an update from my source.
Oracle is investing heavily into chainlink. I mean HEAVILY. The speculation and worry from the high ups with their investment is that chainlink is NOT patented and any competitor can evolve or be created to compete. My source says chainlink has to do everything perfectly right now to succeed. Many companies are attempting to outright BUYOUT chainlink entirely.
I don't know if thats fudding or not. Anyways there you go.
holy fuck higher ups think CL can get copied and pasted into a new decentralized network. How are the autists on this board more clues in than multimillionaire Ivy League caliber graduates LMFAO 1k is fud
Hudson Bennett
That’s exactly my point LMAO >you can just make the oracle equivalent of BTCSV Stupid

Any news within the next 2 weeks?

I'm a semibrainlet so I'm looking for bigger brains in biz to connect the dots to whatever I find
Millionaire ivy league graduates aren't curious about actual progress or wealth, they just pursue what redistributes the most fiat. Of course they're going to be behind on the times.

> Price nearing $2 > Oh shit we better start pumping > Here's some breadcrumbs anons.
I love a good larp but this shit is so cringe. I'd rather read 10 family user larps than this nonsense. Chainlink is decentralized middleware. You can't buy out decentralization, it defeats the point of it you twunt. Fucking amateur. Why the fuck do you think they white-labeled their tech?
solid info OP, reminds me of when i bought out ethereum
Aaron Barnes
> Doesn’t understand network value Anyone can make a perfect copy of bitcoin. The copy will be worthless though because it’s network will never be used. Maybe you’ll market it though and get usage like btg. What matters is the network usage.
Ryan Allen
1. Why would a company not run a centralized oracle network instead of a proprietary instance of a decentralized oracle network? 2. If the company SCCL gets bought out, don't we moon? The fat Brazilian said Oracle startup is making startups monetize their own APIs, I don't think it makes sense for Oracle to do that if they were to create a personal CL competitor with the same tech 3.god dammit Sergey you fucking nigger, how could you forget to patent it?
Hunter Edwards
>there are people on this board who STILL don’t realize that the value of Chainlink is it’s network effect of node operators, not the actual aggregation code itself God, some people are fucking dumb. This shit has all been figured out since early 2018. If OP is an idiot who can’t even make a decent larp.
Camden Martinez
We discussed this user. Chainlink has first mover advantage and is partnered with too many companies, and among them, too many big wig companies, SWIFT, Google, Oracle, MS. For Google to decide to sack their partnership with Chainlink and make their own oracle platform, they have to convince others, especially THE REST OF THE CRYPTO SPACE to use their tools instead of Chainlink's. What would they have to offer to make people turn back on their investments? They're integrating Chainlink tools into Truffle framework, the biggest Smart contract development tools in the space.
And it's not surprising that companies are trying to buyout Chainlink. But everyone who understands the value of oracles knows that Chainlink is going to be at THE VERY LEAST a trillion dollar valued company, Quadrillion dollar company isn't an impossibility. Chainlink is essentially the internet of blockchain technology and a new world of markets are going to be created. Anyone who thinks any company has a slither of a chance of buying out Chainlink must be wishing for a meteorite to kill of Sergey and Steve and the other heads of Chainlink.
Fucking hell. Corps copying chainlink was a concern in 2018. Now that google and oracle have bent the knee this fud is over.
Landon Ross
>semi No, you are a fucking retard.

For everyone telling me I'm a larping retard just fucking think about this:
I am only parroting the perspective and views of one of the highest directors for Oracle's cloud platform and technology development. He is a boomer and not a DR;NS zealot like us. I'm looking to put out his perspective here and to see if anyone can find this information valuable and hopefully explain why.
They can't make their own solution because then it would not be decentralized.
Caleb James
>highest directors for Oracle's cloud platform and technology development Jesus christ. I can smell the menstruation through the fucking screen.
Eli Fisher
You might not be larping that this is actual information from your friend’s dad, but it doesn’t mean that his dad isn’t an absolute retard who does not understand crypto well.
James White
This
Luis Watson
This makes no sense. Even if someone did buy Chainlink, the token value would still be independent of their stock price.
Brody King
I explained this to my friend and he immediately bought a little bag. After ranting to him the nature of the tech I feel like he may be able to ask better questions to his father.
Anyone know any new Oracle dates of interest? Last week his father had to travel from to the West coast to be debriefed on company developments (Chainlink included) so if this is the extent of his knowledge and conclusions after a big ass board meeting with the company then wew laddy...
Who speaks 'shop' with their Dad. Especially if he's really senior in Oracle, he'd hardly see his son, being such a busy wagey. This is such a load of bollocks.
You are not helping anyone. You are contributing to the fud because you don't know what the fuck you are talking about. If you would have done your own actual research, you would realize how fucking dumb your larp sounds.
>> but but but my friends dad said
Fucking imbecile! Here is some advice for all nulinkers out there. Shut the fuck up, read the archives and lurk more.

Can all of you who are calling me a larping faggot just humor me for a second and tell me the implications if Oracle's high ups are as uneducated as you claim to the importance of Chainlink?
It's like you fuckers require me to post his god damn family tree and LinkedIn to even give it some thought. Unfortunately I can't risk my friends dad being spammed with gore and 2D trap dicks just for you to be validated in using some of your brain to explain if there are any implications or useful info here.
I'm a lurker 99.9% of the time, but I feel like I want to give back to this board anyway that I can. Other than making it a better place by buying 5 link worth of rope I guess.
His father lives on the other side of the planet, so you're right in that regard
Isaiah Roberts
The value is in the network
Can you copy facebook? Yes but who cares because it has no users. Companies can copy ANY of the crypto stuff - its all on github - but they don’t. People use eth - because its a fuckhuge giant computer enabled by (drumroll) its NETWORK
Also, the idea that you could ‘buyout’ by merely purchasing all the tokens belies a fundamental misunderstanding of the premise, as well as being highly unlikey since sergs has 700M tokens. You can’t acquire the network by acquiring all the tokens, thats the whole point of decentralization
Firstly, why would a buy out occur? Sergey already has plenty of LINKs and he most likely doesn't give a fuck about materialistic things. Secondly, the point of a decentralised network is that it is DECENTRALISED. If Microsoft made their "own version", what would it be like? Centralised. Even if they copied Chainlink exactly and issued a token for the network, it's already too late.
Henry James
>implications if Oracle's high ups are as uneducated as you claim to the importance of Chainlink?
Either we're extremely early, or extremely wrong. Given that they are coming to the same conclusions Jow Forums did two years ago, it looks like the former.
Gavin Gonzalez
Larry knows what’s going on. He knows he can’t compete with Chainlink’s decentralized network with first mover advantage which is why he hasn’t made his own oracle network. The failure to understand this by his underlings doesn’t really matter.
All I got from this thread is that old money technology boomers still think they can buy out and own a decentralized network
How do I short boomers?
Jaxon Harris
I bet Larry is courting buying Chainlink more than anyone. Not buying the network but buying development access to it. This would eventually mean an enormous amount for its stock.
Nolan Wilson
hes talking to a boomer and a drone.
Adam Morales
>Can all of you who are calling me a larping faggot just humor me for a second and tell me the implications if Oracle's high ups are as uneducated as you claim to the importance of Chainlink?
Rule of thumb, just because a person is a position of power or importance doesn't mean they're well informed. We all know people who are Ph.D.s or working at Google or whatever and don't fully understand crypto. Hell, I argued with a Cryptography lab director at a top tier uni about Chainlink as he felt crypto was a waste of time since he could build the same distributed systems and thought smart contracts had no real world application. And reflect on that last part:
> thought smart contracts had no real world application
Realize that Chainlink is solving a problem in a budding field that most people inside the cryptospace don't know about. Most people don't understand bitcoin. Most people who know about and buy bitcoin don't know about the benefits of blockchain technology. Most people who know about bitcoin and ethereum don't know about what's so innovative about smart contracts and don't know what's preventing smart contracts from taking off, the oracle problem.
In any case, this is a good thread. Don't fret too much about the rest of the anons being at your throat, OP. You won't truly understand this till you discuss it and it's why this is the greatest investment of our time.
Jose Young
Hey guys let's copy the 4channel source code and create our own Jow Forums clone. I'm sure all the anons will move over to the new one for no reason.
you provided us with zero information. All you did was show screenshots of people who have no idea what chainlink is. theres literally dozens if not hundreds of OG marines who understand link better then your friends dumass boomer dad who is JUST NOW learning about link. shut the fuck up and sit down you fucking retarded moron
Eli Russell
>3D LARP Chess with a fucking iPhone text message to attempt to take the "it can easily be copied" fud to a new level Absolutely amazingly low IQ posting, user. Good job.
Michael Reyes
if it doesn't have a network, then why buy it? You're missing the....ahem... fundamental point here
Elijah Butler
> 1, Why would a company not run a centralized oracle network instead of a proprietary instance of a decentralized oracle network?
Centrazlized oracles have have vulnerabilites.
A. A centralized oracle can be compromised which then makes smart contracts useless. Decentralization is the best solution for that for many reasons
B. A centralized oracle can experience down time. Which will make the smart contract its connecting with Useless.
>3. God dammit Sergey you fucking nigger, how could you forget to patent it?
Patents in this space is useless. Bitcoin isn't patented. Ethereum isn't patented. And many of the largest companies have tried to create a platform like ETH. How they doin?
Besides, the whole point of Chainlink is that it is a separate entity dedicated to not only bringing decentralize data offchain to onchain. But that it is a arbitrator of truth.
Google, Oracle, or any other data provider can't be an arbitrator of truth. They would just push everyone to buy THIER data. This would corrupt the space and make Smartcontracts useless. so no. not gonna happen.

His father might have a skewed perspective because if there were offers to buy chainlink, wouldn’t a company named ORACLE be first in line to purchase. We know they like the tech but I’m sure they’d like to own it as well.
