You can diversify between the USD, some european treasury bonds and ETFs. Maybe a small amount on some futues ETF.
I read that 10y Iceland treasury bonds have a good yield (3.88%).

Well the problem is that basically nothing in Korea is cheaper than it would be in America. South Korea's cost of living is higher. Buying a Rolex there and selling it here would be a big loss for me.
I think I might just pay the fee and get dollars.
