Watching the small cap index RUT / IWM for failure of this key trendline up for the year. Alerts set at 1535.
since/smg/ has a forced split you know you've reached peak market, just get out whil you've still got gains, or be a faggot like op and choke on a dick while taking multiple dicks up the ass
>mega-faggot, op is a mega faggot Oh look it's the same sad little angry neckbeard from last time. Everyone knows you lost all your tendies with your shitty RH bets so you have nothing better to do than troll. Good luck living in your moms basement for the rest of your life loser.
Meanwhile we continue to bank real $ every day and trade professionally. Watch and earn.
What's the difference between options, warrants, and turbo?
Jaxon Williams
The US options market is liquid and many have high volume trading.
We don't trade warrants as they are not liquid or traded in high volume. Warrants are frequently attached to bonds or preferred stock.
"Warrants and options are similar in that the two contractual financial instruments allow the holder special rights to buy securities. Both are discretionary and have expiration dates. "
No fucking clue about 'turbo'. Never heard of it before and have been in this biz a long time.
Jeremiah Edwards
Watch for RUT failing the 200 day at 1520
Brayden Reyes
The 200 day could likely give support. Set alerts and be ready for a bounce. IV may be high enough soon to short the 16 delta strangle.
Alexander Martinez
HYG now has IV at 8%. This is about 70 percentile of the past years IV range and 1.5x the average realized vol of the past year. The IVR is lower at 23%, but this is likely thrown off from the massive spikes last year.
The goal here will be to short the put and if assigned collect the yield at a lower cost basis. Hopefully the whole junk credit market doesn't implode. If it does the stock market will be cut in half by then.
i got more where that came from, have fun kiddo, i hope you really enjoy that massive cock up your ass
Ethan Bell
Is Nassim Taleb cool or is he talking out his ass
Nicholas Long
Some strangle candidates we're looking at: junior miners GDXJ with IVR at 95% GLD at 70% IVR (we just a winner one and may put one back on again) TLT at 55% IVR
More coming if the selling continues and vol rises
platform alarms going off again today like a raging inferno. Thanks to our VIX plays and low risk bear put spread strategies put on weeks ago, there's profit every day this week.
Charts slow the days lower expected range (-1SD move) is around 2907 range. The SPX can often reverse around that range of movement lower. But -2SD moves can occur (but infrequent), so manage your risk accordingly.
Owen Robinson
The SKEW index has been absurdly low showing the funds were under insured for this. The insane spike in put /call volume ratio PVSPX/CVSPX confirms this
??? our vix plays??? I was waiting for your sell signal, now i'm fucking justed.
Henry Hall
>??? our vix plays??? I was waiting for your sell signal, now i'm fucking justed.
We sold long ago, guess you missed it loser.
After pissing all over this thread for days, spamming and trolling, you think you can act like you've been interested in following along with pro traders? LOLs
Go blow your account playing on your phone with your RH pennies .
Baggie is some clueless fucking neckbeard loser who thinks he can try to pump the TVIX Velocity Shares Daily 2X VIX Short-Term ETN like it's some penny stock?
Hey guys! Lets buy Royal Carribean Options the weekend before we watch the toddler go right out the window!
Aaron Torres
you honestly missed the beauty and profit in that call...
Joseph Howard
This kind of loser troll seen above is a perfect example of what we were showing yesterday on this thread about learning what to avoid as a beginner.
Another perfect example of why its so important to read up and get education from the experts. Do you want to learn how to trade like a pro, and not blow your account like so many retail traders end up doing?
See the links and education section above. They're free, but you will need to do some homework.
>post positions faggot Aint gonna happen you loser, especially not for a worthless troll like you.
Our group professionally oversees assets worth digits you can't count to.
We've nothing to prove. Just aiming to help a few new younguns along the way who are williing to learn and not an arrogant POS like you.
It just takes one loser such as yourself to ruin opportunities for everyone.
So ahead and keep spamming. It only shows the world what a loser you really are. We have much more important things to do than waste time on brats like you.
1 = the number of parents you were raised by 2 = the different directions price can go 3 = the number of times you had to repeat the 4th grade 4 = the amount of digits in a single yang 5 = the times I've ahh fuck it you're right I can't count that high, have fun talking to your self kiddo, maybe one day you'll learn to stop wasting other people's oxygen and become an hero like pic related.
>good idea to use options to buy biotech catalysts or a bad idea? Asking for a friend
The strategy does lower your costs basis and slightly reduce risk by capping your upside. You have a higher probability of a win on the trade. It's a good strategy with a similar risk profile to selling covered calls.
You want to look for underlyings which are high volume, tight spreads and high relative IV. If you are looking to invest and hold on assignment pick quality names with rich P/FCF and solid fundamentals or you will suffer from the consequences of making poor investing decisions. "Biotech catalysts" sound a bit like you might be looking at small cap / speculative names so take care. The larger the account size, the more often we will tend to look at trading indexes and large cap.
We like to use the income from puts as an alternative to dividends and when we're not interested in acquiring assets at the current spot price we short OTM at the 20-30 delta range.
Do take note of the additional assignment fees from your broker which can add up.
"Rolling turbo is a financial derivative popular in Germany introduced by Goldman Sachs in 2004."
But a few thoughts are to look for well established highly liquid markets with narrow spreads.
Be sure it's a fair market. Options are priced on the Black-scholes Model. We can calculate deltas and other pricing statistics to know the fair pricing on options.
Jaxon Smith
Put a new short strangle in GLD 50 days to expiry oon the SEP 19 146/131 for 1.30 credit
IVR of 76% and IV 1.4x the realized vol of the past year.
Will aim to closer early at 50% of max profit or at 21 days to expiration.
Working a few more orders right now to post later this afternoon.

Are things 'over done' here yet? Some talking heads saying things have 'gone too far too fast.
Longer term signals we're watching show today is just a start of a larger shift in sentiment.
Could Trump walk back yesterday's Tariff announcement in the next few months?
Some pros are saying this is his move to try to force the hand of the Fed to doing another cut in the next few months.
Trade opened: shorted TLT strangle in SEP at 141/132 for 1.40 credit on the 22 delta strikes for the higher volume/ tighter spreads Higher IV right now with this large move up on the long duration treasuries. IVR 52 and about 1.3x the year average realized vol
