When can we expect the transaction retries to come out? I can barely get past 300 KB files without having to try 20 to 30 times .
Thank you for your service

last i heard their fix is just to increase the cost of using the blockchain to help fight the spam. they are going to destroy their own product because its useless

Yeah, console output indicates it could not verify the previous transaction , seems like a race condition where they ping some kind of ack back but don't store the transaction and your check fails for the hash.
I have had a 100% CPU loop on the verification stage also where the transaction does not exist for some reason also, sorry I don't have console output all you need to do to replicate any of this is try a file larger than a couple hundred K. I would file this on GitHub to have a tracker, but honestly I am pretty active there and am not sure about anynominity regardless of the safeguards I take.
Yeah, the main problem is that all transactions have to occur sequentially and for some reason I'm getting a success message back from ripple on say transaction 56/100 but when it submits transaction 57, it says 56 was never complete.
All good on the logs, and believe me, I completely get the anonymity concerns based on the backlash

The fundemental problem and the thing that makes this so much different than other blockchain hosted stuff is that Ripple hosts their shit to be accessible via a websocket connection.
So in the case of content distribution they are technically on the hook to take action on DMCA requests and other takedown notices . It is not like other blockchain stuff that needs a server in the middle to convert the data to something a user's browser can consume.
This aspect is unpatchable , they literally need to rethink their entire infrastructure and core protocol to address this , or just start admitting they are centralized and pruning shit from the ledger.
That's intense. I want to hear more. How does this websocket connection work with ripple
At least upload his manifesto
lmao this is awesome. hats off to you sir
