CHECKED
Hey there
they demonstrated, simply, that they product functions as intended, and how someone may input logic into chainlink
and there is an easy to use, well documented boilerplate/sdk to make it all work. this is nothing to complain about in the slightest
so we bullish?
this is bullish, yes
it's not news, so it won't moon
in fact it will dump a bit more
but this is solid proof that will appeal to tech compnies
hence why oracle is working with chainlink
Did nobody ask them about the 700k dumps?
Checked. Bullish absolutely bullish.
Cant dodge the Hodge
They did. They're 'de-risking' which suggests actual selling.
Get a load of this lonley faggot! Checking his self. Not how that works asshole
just came from the event. My 2 cents.
1) I don't think even the dev community really knows about chainlink. The crowd was far more engaged then other breakout sessions because it was like they were hearing it for the first time.
2) Chainlink doesn't need or care about partnerships. Basically, they are a tool for the ecosystem. Does toyota partner with a monkey wrench?
3) There are a lot of really smart people in this space. No joke. I think the big boi working on the Azure Blockchain team is one to keep track of. The 6foot 8 300 pound guy. He was the smartest guy in the room.
4) The private permissioned space is going to take the lead for now. Public has a long ass way to go.
5) Eth 2.0 is happening. That is straight from Lubin's mouth.
6) Nearly every fortune 500 company has spoken to Microsoft about blockchain and how they can benefit from it.
My takeaways from saturday.
2)
underrated post
Thanks, fren!
Thanks mate
So what does this mean for the price of link in the next two years? Also, I'm unfamiliar with eth2.0. What would be a good way to invest in that besides buying ethereum?
SELL?
absolutely, it's gonna dump till the next event web3
based porker

That was to be expected. RIP Bitcoin and its "institutional" investors
Marc Mercuri was the Azure dude. Someone to watch.
Final comment. Lubin, Tim (Truffle CEO) and Marc were asked about Libra.
Lubin said that he doesn't think that Libra will allowed to be the "central bank" for smaller economies. But he does think good will come out of it due to the exposure. It will expose people to blockchain and then allow publics to show why they offer a better solution (when they are ready to) Tim said roughly the same thing.
Marc said that Microsoft legal is watching and that money of the Libra companies are microsoft clients so he can't comment.
**many**
Overall, what is your opinion on chainlink? Do you think it will be the backbone of the 4th industrial revolution like some anons here believe?
I can't comment on the tech as I am not a developer but my basic takeaways are..
1) If the rest of the team is like Thomas Hodge, then that is fantastic. He presented well and killed the QnA from what my brainlet mind understood. Left the folks asking questions speechless.
2) I think the problem the are solving is actually running ahead of the pack. Their solution makes total sense in the public chains (which, quite frankly I still think is a science project at this stage). If the permissioned, private chains decide that they need chainlink, then maybe 1000EOY actually is fud.
3) I think their approach is slightly wrong when it comes to business development. I think they are assuming that use cases are obvious and the tech is needed. I think they need to "create" the market, so to speak. Like, start an subsidiary company that leverages chainlink tech and demostrate int he market why its superior. THe premise that firms will get it and migrate towards smart contracts powered by decentralized oracles is shaky to me.
Dont check yourself fag. It cancels your digits
>The 6foot 8 300 pound guy. He was the smartest guy in the room.
Sergey was there?
because you know the facebook coin news really hurt bitcoin and it's price, and the comments he heard from this conference weren't just one guys understanding of a niche
will microsoft be utilizing a link shadowfork? or perhaps a home brewed oraclize clone?
Microsoft would decide not to use chainlink because some autistic manchildren memed sergey as an obese white male on a racist blood diamond trading forum regardless of the money they would save.
