The letters were for anyone who sold/traded/transferred $20k on any KYC exchange in a single year between 2013-1017
That includes buying $1k worth of eth and selling it and buying it again and selling it 10 times.
Ive seen 50+ different users on reddit that claim to have received an IRS letter in the last week because of crypto but only a couple users on Jow Forums that were probably larping

Every now and then a whale might drop some bread crumbs on here because they want to nudge the market a certain direction, but unless you know their strategy, odds are, you're going to be on the losing end of that advice.

I read Jow Forums for entertainment and to see what crazy shit everyone talks about. I want to see what crypto people are chattering about and gauge sentiment so I can either trade or countertrade the emotions of the general public. I am only a retail investor, but my wife and I make just under $250k per year combined. We have 4 kids and one on the way. Yes I know what causes that. I have put about $60k into crypto since the peak of 2017-2018. Sucks that is when I got in because I have learned the hardest of fucking hard ways what not to do. I have lost a lot, but learned a lot. Currently I am just sitting on around $30k and not investing in anything. Messing with alts right now is very risky. Btc can go either way. I was stopped out on a stop loss order overnight, and I won’t jump back in until it proves the uptrend will continue. So my point is, many of us on here actually have money. I don’t need crypto to “make it”. This is just a side hustle. When you can afford to play with $60k because it literally doesn’t affect your ability to pay your bills or anything, then you have already made it. I am sure there are plenty of other people like this on here, too, not just a bunch of NEETS and racist jokers. But I do fucking love the escape from my norm is life this site provides. But I don’t do anything any of you suggest. I read books on wave theory and technical analysis. I read about Dow theory. I put in the necessary work to build real wealth whether crypto goes to zero or not.
