Walmart worker here. it's not really bad at all once you get used to it, A lot of typical retail bullshit and annoying managers being retarded, but nothing particularly stressful.
My store is particularly shit in term of management and organization because it's in a pretty "urban" area so we get lots of crap young employees and shit, but overall it's meh. I don't dread going to work like I did some jobs I've had(like restaurant work).
Also the pay is pretty good for retail. if you work in the fresh dept, you start off at 12 bucks an hour(and this is a cheap area, I pay 600 a month for a 2 bedroom apartment) and pretty much guaranteed full time unless you don't want it.
It's not particularly stressful even now at my store ruled by incompetence and bad co-workers, so at other stores where they don't have these issues I'd imagine it's even easier. All in all it's not too bad a place to wagecuck
Oh, and I don't do roadwork because I can only work out of the home part time because I care for a disabled person.

Nah, just explaining that it's far from the bottom rung of wagecuckery. Obviously it's not a "good" job but trust me there is waaaaay worse shit, and it most certainly is not super hard work.
I've done actual hard labor jobs before and trust me, the people in here saying you don't know wtf you're talking about are right. an 8 hour shift in 100 degree temps doing hard labor is simply beyond most people physically.
There is a reason why even fit, strong men end up damn near disabled at the end of a long career in construction.

And I'm not defending it so much as correcting misinformation. No reason to demonize Walmart in particular when there is way worse shit out there. don't scare people away from it if they desperately need a job telling them a bunch of bullshit, when they could easily work there a while and make a bit of money to get them through a rough patch etc

I've never worked retail but I worked as a construction laborer for about a year when I was young. Literally worst job I've had in my life, I regret not quiting sooner but the pay was good. Most people in that line of work are sub humans and I wouldn't care if one was dying near me I wouldn't bother to help him. They are the most cucked and dumb wagies I've ever had to work with and are completely deserving of exploitation. I have no respect for anyone in the entire industry. Literal trained apes. Not humans.
