this is the same reason companies won't buy it though, would they really put millions into some shitcoin that can gain or lose 80% in a month? I think companies will want to provide data for the network but they won't hold link for any amount of time. Constant sell pressure once the network is live.

I often feel the same way. I think about how I only have 85k LINK and the money I’ve made so far is not life changing but then I remember that this is really still the early stages of the project and I already have GBP180k invested. Any movements from here could be massive, and my experience with coins in the past suggests that there’s a lot more money to be made. So then I’m happy.
