It was for me years ago but there's tradeoffs. You don't need to think about and approach your life like a marketing campaign anymore but it doesn't help with girls. The former heavily outweighs the latter though, privacy concerns aren't trivial either.

Yeah I deleted facebook a few months ago, because it seemed like it was literally dying. It was just people resharing dumb videos and the occasional vacation album of some girl from college whose parents took her on vacation somewhere that I can't afford to go.
