Ive met and observed a few a multi-millionaires. Making money becomes a hobby/sport and somewhat competitive in their small little circles. Some of them look working/middle class at first sighting. Also, large amounts of money gives them power which they administer to stroke their egos and control their employees/followers.

i'm a close friend to one of the great/grandchildren of George Russel and i can say they are the richest/wealthiest humans and the best folks that i know. everyone both rich and poor that i know do not add up to the goodness that these people exude upon those they chose to be around.
