So, I broke down like a real big boy and bought an S9i Antminer. Anyone know the best pool to mine in for profitability or any general tips from experienced Anons.
I am securing the future so I don't pleb my way around the rest of my life. How about you?
What did you pay? I have a grand I want to use to start a farm.
Nolan Scott
$805 and some change. Came with the bitmain PSU. I tried to get a cheaper one on eBay but my card company blocked both transactions and flagged my card. Because I am usually soo frugle.
But, if that is American you can make out with more than likely an s9/ s9i and a T9 or maybe to s9s.
I also $30 rushed shipping in the price. In Canada, it's a really good deal. And, it's straight change my hydro $65 a month because of subsidies so it's straight cash...
You got ripped off. You can pick them up for 400bucks from Ali Express
Isaiah Jackson
ripped off.
Levi Ross
You may be able to to get 2x low tier ASIC with this. Don't buy them new. Sellers on Ali Express will make good on anything that is wrong with a miner for the first couple of months I got all 4 of mine their and they are as good as new. Even sold some on for a profit to retards in Europe
Robert Baker
Install Braiins OS on your antminer. You'll be able to get 15% more hashrate from it. Telegram me if you need a hand @L00015

Someone replace Randy’s face with sergey.
Levi Cruz
He should do the opposite, undervolting can get the s9 to 80J per TH. Doesn't hold a candle to the S17s though.
Levi Garcia
Will, keep this in mind. First off I am Canadian so that's still $700. And, I don't really trust that site very much. I thought it was like Wish...
But, if I am interested in a second one. I'll look around a bit better.
>Like wish It's like chink Amazon, money back for lost or damaged shit.. etc. It's actually good and the sellers actually talk to you. My S9 fans were got being recognised, everything looked fine. The seller sent me a new control board but before it arrived I noticed on if the solders on the fan wires had come off, so the fan RPM wasn't being tracked but was still powered. Board came and I sold it for $100. Tldr, you can trust Ali Express

Nah get an S9 at a minimum. The others are 'okay' but less efficient. Or get a Dragonmint (innosilicon / Halong) T1. 16TH out the box, 17TH on performance mode
John Allen
Also read the description you pleb. They are just trying to end up in the search results
Kevin James
True the newer antminers are sweet but I wish ASIC would fucking stop being double length. Really fucks up my space management and cooling situation
Jaxon Watson
Yeah, saw a couple of the T1's when I just check Ali... I should have posted about the best places to buy ASIC miners... Oh, well. Got one on the way now. Know where to pick up a cheaper one. Doesn't it make me an asshole to stop a payment. LoL.
I'm a total noob with mining and was thinking of getting one of these as well. Is this something I can just setup in my spare bedroom and plug into the wall socket? Only want to get and use one.
Austin Cook
A spare room would be ideal. I guess they are loud a little. But, basically set it up mine and check it a couple of times a day to make sure it's running coin.
Ok great thanks for the info. I wasn't sure if it would trip any circuits with the power draw. I have nothing running in my spare bedroom so the load should be ok.
Jeremiah Brown
it has 10 dollars 4 core cpu lol
Christian Price
Oh when you said $805 we assumed you meant in real money. Carry on then...
Daniel Torres
if i spend 1000$ on a miner how much money will it make me (daily)?
Brody Ramirez
A dollar. Give or take.
Benjamin Jenkins
More like $10 per day Depends on how much you pay for power. If it's free then you are literally wasting money by not mining
