Save and invest 40-70% of your income and you can retire early. Retiring at 40-50 is 100% better than retiring at 70-80 or never.

Illiquid wealth is still wealth. Liquidity is a good thing though if you dont make rash decisions. Illiquid wealth is good for the kind of people who panic and sell at bottom.

Just finished Uni should have everything paid off here over the next 2 years.

I am talking with an agent about listing my 4 door multifamily. I bought it in 2011 with a VA loan, and the prices on rentals in my area are crazy right now, idk how anyone will cash flow with what my guy said I should list at, but whatever. I am thinking I am going to buy a single family in the black part of town and ride that gentrification wave, and hold the rest in cash/bonds until something better comes along.

Yeah...I made sandwiches one week and had lunches covered and dinner for less than 100 a week without even trying. That means I'm spending like 300-400 bucks extra a month for no reason that I could have spent on investments

Hope so,
any starter tips?

If you are willing to sacrifice it is possible to eat for 100-200 a MONTH. If you can save 300-400 without going extreme, it is a no-brainer to do it.
Don't confuse what you want right now (fast food, crap) for what you want the most (bright financial future, early retirement). Might lose a little weight too. Good luck!

whats the trick to getting such a low rent price

20
Neet
$15K USD all in link at 0.65

Gay for pay
2 dollars

First you need income. In 90% of cases this means a job. Jobs often suck and are painful, but we gotta do what we gotta do to get money. Your pain tolerance will grow as time goes on.

Second you need to save a big chunk of your income and keep expenses low. Do what must be done.

Third you need to invest some of your savings so you can retire one day. Invest according to your risk tolerance so you don't panic and sell at the bottom.

It's best to start right now because then your money has more time to grow in investments. Money right now is more valuable than money in 30 years. If someone offers you a job or overtime, you take it. Next year might be a recession and you might not make any money. Make hay while the sun shines.

The path from adolescence to adulthood is hard, but after that life becomes easy if you did what must be done. You will be in control of your destiny, the world will be your oyster.

Good luck!

Might not be possible in every place, but where I live you can share your living space with others, split the rent.

Van life is also an option if the weather is good in your location.

$200 is pushing the limit of how cheap you can go while still being able to consume enough calories and nutrients for a low-moderatly active lifestyle. Honestly, I'd argue that spending an extra $100-$200 a month on a better diet that'll give you more energy and vitality to enjoy your life and pursue your goals with is a worthwhile investment.

Same here but I'm almost 29 in November and have fucked up lower back from my Min wage job at grocery store that I quit and no compensation . Fuck Being poor

Really

I'm not a trader, I work in M&A so we have a lot of restrictions on trading. We need to ask for approval before buying stocks. And many times get rejected, banks just don't want to run the risk of insider trading accusations by the regulator/press because a stupid analyst/associate on their 20s was too greedy for couple of k more. Press is hungry for any news that makes investment banks look bad while they oversee any random shit that other companies like google, amazon, fb or even traditional sectors do.

Having said that, during the height of the crypto bubble when it was everywhere on the news a lot of analysts/associated were like crazy trying to open crypto accounts and buy BTC. After the bubble barely anybody talks about it...

I should mention that while I teach now but am retired VC guy

I still see do some appetite for crypto as a VC after bubble but yeah not as much

dont get too excited. I own my own aircraft, my liquid assets are pretty meager (I've got like R 110,000 and $8k NZD in different bank accounts) because I'm basically breaking even on my current charter schedule. but I owe nothing on the plane itself and if I can get some good contracts I'll be golden.

I reckon I'm the poorest """millionaire""" in the world.

This is technically wrong. The only real asset that is real wealth is gold and silver. Your net worth even in dollars isnt real wealth. It is a (((Federal Reserve NOTE)))

This is why it is so imporant to have 10% of your net worth in real physical tangible gold and silver otherwise your dollar denominated assets will implode.

user I have news for you...

I take a number of supplements that may be helpful (according to animal trials) for increasing longevity and quality of life such as acetly-l-cystin, taurin, nad+ along with some other more mundane supplements such as omega 3 and vitamin b12. Definitive, longterm research on drugs and substances that have been touted as being helpful for slowing the ageing process is not yet available but the studies that I have read show promise for the that I have decided to start taking.
