Gamestop has lost 94% of its value in FOUR YEARS

Gamestop's stock free-fall continues again today with the company going as low as $3.19. That's an 82% drop in the last year and a ridiculous $5 BILLION lost in the last 4 years.

At the current rate, the stock is at risk of being delisted by the NYSE as soon as this year. Announcements from companies like Microsoft and Google cementing their plans for their streaming platforms are also expected to kick the stock while it's down

It's just a dip bro. Accumulate while you can

I’m getting REQ vibes..

why is this POS still listed? On the other hand when PS5 comes out next year, this junk stock is going to pump at least half way to old aths.

whales are shaking-out the plebs. this will go to the moon after they finish accumulating

Rip off trade ins with terrible customer service

lol

probably going to go bankrupt soon to joins the ranks of Blockbuster and Circuit City

Good

This. Then when that started to stop working they forced employees to sell gamestop credit cards or get fired. Gamestop has always been a fucking trash business that pushed out independent game stores in favor of the most jewish practices in the retail industry.

Watching them crash and burn is a joy.

I was going to put up an Options call on RobinHood, but I noticed they make it really difficult and complicated when you could make money. Try to buy an options call for Beyond The Meat right now and you will see an easy to use interface that tells you how much money you can make. Try it with GameStop and it gives you a complicated fucking mess with the UI broken and no indication of what is going on.

>Gamestop tries to sell their $300 M company to someone
>"uhh we'll give you $7 for it"

This is just part of the greater retail trend. At $3, I'm doubling down.

Millinials killed gamestop because they don't want to leave their house

reminder they eliminated their dividend in june, don't fall for the false notion it yields 40%

Stop with this fud, the technology is solid and institutional investors are pushing the price low so they can accumulate. Easily still a 5x in the near-term.

Good that place should burn

Sir I’m sorry you are dissatisfied with our service, may I offer you a Mega rewards bonus card for only $20 a month? Or you could get the super mega extreme bonus card for only $30 a month.

Do they have a lot of debt or something? Seems like the real estate and on shelf merch alone should be worth more then 300MM.

They likely rent out the real estate so they are probably in the hole there. Also Amazon sells all of their merch and more for less.

The only fault of a businesses failure is on the business itself in a capitalist society.

bullshit argument, completely false. The industry is changing to a more digital/mistransactions focused thing and Gamestop's business model just isnt holding up anymore. Those same millenials also attended midnight releases and have bought plenty at gamestop over the years.

Now things have changed there are alternatives such as amazon, digital online stores for games think of steam, epic, origin, battlenet.

More time to accumulate

>another retail store can't survive

You can thank Jeff and Walmart

I wonder how this shit survived that long.
Last time I went to Gamestop to get a game was GTA V in 2013 for the PS3.

Their model is garbage, is absolutely correct. Things like steam and online marketplaces that just about every console now has makes GameStop the next blockbuster. Get out while you can.

So basically they got their comeuppance?
If you buy even a new game there it drops 80% in value once you come to return it or trade it in. Good riddance. If they had better practices they wouldn't be so utterly fucked.

They could have competed but they have a shit business model

Has anyone even been to a gamestop recently?
50% of the store is dedicated to funko pops

Shorting this bitch with no survivors

Why would anyone go to gamestop?
Can just order physical copies off amazon or digitally purchase most games

When I was a kid I would like to go in them to check out new games or Id have to look at them in magazines

Now its "MOMMM GIVE ME YOUR CREDIT CARD I WANNA BUY VBUCKS"

Should have known to short this with the trend moving to digital media

And that's a good thing!
