What I said was just the shitpost way of saying the purchasing power of a free market currency can continue going up indefinitely (albeit it slows down considerably as its network effect reaches maximum potential). If we stuck strictly to a gold standard all these years, then the purchasing power of a 1 ounce coin would go up as technology and industrial output increased. Yet the value of that gold coin would still be mostly monetary premium. Only difference is bitcoin has less history, is much earlier in its adoption cycle, and more of its value is pure monetary premium.
