The discord/telegram are full of retards that have never used linux/administered a server in their lives, they clearly just want the 50$ binance payout. The Harmony team knows this and lets the interns/Gizem deal with that since any real help would take away too much manpower.

2 Shards have been taken down for just under a day to fix sync and dns issues.
Devs are working double shifts to fix problems and communication is great.. over half the node operators have never run a node before and everyone has managed to set up cloud nodes and get them online.
Disaster? No. Even testnet transactions are even going through.

Stands for Foundational Node. For each million ONEs you hold you can create a foundational node that runs on the mainnet. Every block that's validated gets your some ONEs. It's like about 1200 ONEs per day and the cost of running servers are like $20 per month. You can do the math yourself. The team gives a bunch of personal support if you ever want to run one.

I run a FN and my shit has been working on MainNet for a week no, had to do nothing. Pangaea is on testnet, that’s the point — it’s for noobs to rage over bugs to perfect the real nodes run by chads like me.

but node rewards are not part of the unlock schedule.
and if rewards are like 1200 ONEs I don't know, I can't see people getting paid thousands a day to run a node and having buyers to dump all that to, in addition to people trading

Well thats the thing, the amount of ONE being paid out to node operators is fixed, so the larger the number of nodes, the less ONE is paid out to each node operator

Pangaea has been pretty fucky so far in terms of bugs, but that seems like a good thing to me if they're willing to put themselves out there for anons to tear them apart. It seems genuine for me.
The team is stellar. It's probably quite literally the best team I've seen in all of my research.
