operating PoS nodes is the new mining

its hard to compete with the chinks
that being said youll make 69 cents a day profit with that.
nice id

this, if you dont have a chainlink node going youre a mong

Under a dollar in profit daily, I mine on my machine and just hope the coin I'm mining will perform well next bullrun.

>pajeet

these new machines are 7nm chips
50TH/s at 1975w

did the math it's about $10 a day profit with 7 cent kwh
make about $500 on the year but that's not factoring in price or difficulty adjustment changes

6 years to break even
but the halving is in like 8 months
a lot of uncertainty

you basically need a large operation and very cheap/free electricity

How long does it take to mine a coin?

Im makin around 10$ per day mining on a few gpus.

What GPU's and what does your electricity cost?

this
think i currently make under 10c profit a day currently
just mining small bags of shit in case any of them explode next run

> 2023
> the last crypto miner stops mining
> noone notices and still keep trading crypto, cos its nothing but a speculative asset

the fact that cryptomining is now essentially centralized prove that it has failed
but then again it was by design, this ponzi was never meant to go this far

More important than your electricity cost is whether your house needs heating!

network hash power is required to transfer btc between btc wallets

its actually more economical to rent a rig online- you just pay rental and find a russian super box or something, and pump out them micro coins.

It still entails something like a 1% loss though- ie, youre paying for your coins in the hope they moon. But renting rather than buying the rig negates the initial outlay, so you're comparatively up.

pos isn't new

I mine, probaly worst decision ever. I bought hardware in jan 2018 at peak prices ($700 1070ti, $750 vega64 ...) for about $35k.
So far from breakeven i stopped counting because its just too depressing. Oh, if i hadnt had chainlink id be much more in the hole. I am about 50% down. Maybe would be less if i hadnt sold 0.3 btc in march at $3500 fml.

based quads of retardation

I mine Pocketne.app it's POS and you can farm your stake still with posting.
If it merely had the attention that Sent and Link get from the currys and trannies it is already game.
