The more expensive BTC becomes (as it matures) the more stable it's price becomes.

The reason crypto is so volatile is because the market cap is so low, the price can be pushed relatively easy. This is an argument for it still being somewhat early in price discovery and growth.

Gold fluctuates in price too, and people consider it a store of value and want the financial system based off it.
