As far as I know most of them didn't bother taking the advice and investing, the few who did didn't invest much, nowhere near as much as it usually takes to determine corruption, but they found his friends chat room where he told him.

Monopolies on life saving drugs are not illegal. Price gouging these life saving drugs is not illegal. Bragging to your friends that you're going to make $100 million by abusing the system is illegal. Dwell on that.
