SIBOS 2017 was actually a big deal and had real good news that legitimized Link though. That's why it did dump. If it was just another scam ICO the whales would have allowed it to be pumped way further and hyped it up before dumping on everyone later. But they realized Link was fucking legit and had huge potential so they dumped it immediately to shake everyone the fuck out and begin long term accumulation and price suppression.
We are way past that stage now though, any good news at Web3 and we are going through the stratosphere.
