sorry, at least in US the patent office explicitly states they do not accept patents for free energy devices, sure there are some such patents that slipped though, but why bother with patent in the first place and not just to keep it a secret? there are foreign nations that do not care about US law and bluntly steal patents and some even claim US own military is somewhat exempt form the rules...

Relevent I have a friend who's a physicist, claims he can do it with plasma. I think he's nuts but it does sound plausible and he has some promising data, I just don't think he will be able to scale up.
