this is the final black pill on LINK. read at your own peril and risk. there's no going back after this:
ok,...
the reason the chainlink team is selling up and exiting now isn't b/c they were scammers all along. quite the opposite. rather, they realized they couldn't solve one aspect of the problem that was crucial to their business model; they couldn't figure out to implement the reputation and penalty system.
they tried though. they teamed up with almost every other project in the space and consulted heavily with academia. but they just couldn't figure it out. and b/c it is a quintessential aspect of the LINK package, it meant the whole project was finished.
and it is. finished. it's over. i am telling you this now b/c of how bad i felt for REQ and AMB holders back in the day. LINK is joining that group - i.e. an honest project that couldn't live up to the hype.
thanks for your input. i actually sold today after realizing this.

Based, although they won't be able to shut it down or the autists will hunt down the team. I fear for what would happen to them. Instead they'll just make low energy presentations to make people think it's still active while selling their stack along the way to live off of.
>deliver good data = good rep, bad data = bad rep >Penalty given for bad data
Please explain why this is impossible to solve
Isaiah Taylor
It is really sad.
Isaac Clark
Imagine taking the time to type this
Colton Richardson
didnt read. See you at $12 bucks.
Mason Thomas
ask sirgay.
obviously, you have no idea of the complexity of the problem. those of us who do, know that the choke point for any "oracle solution" is the reward/penalisation issue. if the team knew how to do it, they'd have done it first. and yet it's the only part of the whole project that they haven't even statred on. someone should ask him on stag etomorrow. watch that fat russian fraud sweat.
Carter Perez
>they couldn't figure out to implement the reputation and penalty system.
at least make some effort you retard.
Aaron Howard
It's sad for the investors, but in a way they bought themselves a cake job for the next several years. At least until all interest in the project is lost and the token goes to 0.
typos will not save you, frend. i am telling you to get out now b4 LINK becomes the next AMB or REQ. we're close to the point of no return for this project once the truth gets out.
like someone else said, if they believed in LINK they'd be using the $30 mil from the ico to buy more, not sell-off the family farm. think about it. seriously.
Mason Garcia
thanks user it is good to see others have reached the same conclusion. it was fun while it lasted, made some money at least.
Lmao bad fud Just read the protocol information on the chainlink wiki no problem about penalty and reputation, just solution implemented and tested by the team
Joseph Harris
Good job I already sold.
Sebastian Hernandez
>typos will not save you I didn't reference you making a typo, it's the stupid excuse you made that the penalty and reward contracts are the insurmountable barriers preventing them from making progress. There's literally a dozen of problems that I can think of the top of my head that would present significantly harder challenges for chainlink, but those contracts themselves aren't it. The financing part is flawed too.
Jose Cook
the oracle problem itself is essentially one of reputation. every theorist accepts that you can't "solve" the oracle problem in knowing 100% that a given input truly matches the source datum point. and in LINK's case reputation absolutely is the method of making as sure as one can be that inputs are correct. that something so fundamental to the project hasn't been dealt with EVEN AFTER MAINNET LAUNCH is astonishing.
nah, it's over for LINK. believe me or don't, but i will warn as many as can from now until price goes back to 20 cents...
Owen Morales
OP, you are such a mongo for trying this weak FUD.
I think a lot of the smart money got out around the top at $4 after they took an honest look at the team and what they've accomplished. It's just going to bleed from here on out. There is literally nothing major on the hoirzon from here on out.
Jack Hall
you're right OP
sad as it is, i was early investor in both REQ and LINK..
I sold REQ all the way down, learnt my lesson and sold LINK after coinbase listing. seems its bleeding out, i hope it does well but the charts don't lie, this is going to bleed out like REQ..
REQ $660,000,000 marketcap last year today: $8 million
Jordan Price
Funny that you mention this, OP, because it was just leaked on an unofficial Discord that Sergey is announcing tonight that they have indeed figured out how to implement the reputation and penalty system.
Benjamin Hill
>leaked on an unofficial Discord o boy
Xavier Walker
My claim is as real as your's, OP.
Daniel Martin
Chain Link team doesn't need to work on the reputation system, hence why it hasn't been worked on.
>they teamed up with almost every other project in the space and consulted heavily with academia exactly, i already said this above. and the news is in that it cant be done, hence the sell-off of the 650mil reserve tokens.
Jackson Garcia
based are the fudders even trying anymore?
Ryder King
Do you think hiring, acquiring, and running a company out of San Francisco is free? Oh that's right, we're on biz and nobody here has ever owned a business or even had a real job.
Jeremiah Anderson
And we should believe you, why?
>they'd be using the $30 mil from the ico to buy more holy shit you're such a fucking idiot
Aiden Johnson
Do you honestly think that anyone here believes a cocksucking little faggot like you?

>tfw iExec does decentralized oracles with staking mechanism and PoCo consensus algo as a sideproject and btfo LINK 32m$ unfinished oracles
A real business makes money for operations. Chainlink only makes money from selling tokens like Ripple does. Chainlink clearly doesn’t have any demand.
It’s not about ‘beleif’. The facts are in front of us all. Nobody is utilising Chainlink because the system doesn’t exist. Chainlink are selling tokens to make money. These are facts. You cannot pirouette around this you dumb financial cuck. Having to make up defence stories for your ERC coin ‘investment’ is a sell signal. A bunch of 20-somethings claiming they changed the tech world ala Theranos is a sell signal. A company using cringey memes from an anime forum is a sell signal. Giving yourself military ranks for how many bags you hold is a cringey sell signal. Sixty-five percent of tokens in the pockets of the founders is a don’t-even-buy-this signal.
Linkfags are the dumbest people in crypto. None of them even understand how blockchain works.
Robert Campbell
You went from they tried and good honest project to they haven't even started and abusing, weak weak fud user, it's ok this is still a good price, stop fighting it
Joseph Perry
you misread me, or i wasnt clear enough; the team were honest in wanting to solve the problem, did everything they could do, but realized that the one thing beyond them was the reputation & staking system. and without that you have no network. so now there're selling off the portion of the company they own, and taking what they can.
there is simply no doubt that they are selling off now. sometimes it's easier to get away with something if you do it in plain sight.
Evan Wright
OP is one pathetic loser that is so desperate to get anons to sell that he white knight larping to get anons to sell their bags but everyone sees through his shenanigans. Get a life, have sex, and kys. You will never get my linkies
Logan Diaz
The truth. Thanks OP I finally sold
