Negative Interest Rate Bonds

Why on Earth would anyone buy a negative interest rate bond? Literally stashing cash will generate a higher return.

Is there one single legitimate reason?

just to dab on poor people

Greater fools theory. But really it's still a safe investment. Stashing cash really isnt an option when banks all move to negative rates and we move to all digital cash.

Because the government will buy them for more as "stimulus".

Some governments require institutions to hold certain amounts of government debt by law.

The goobermint will force you to buy them soon. Just like they force you to pay for nigger babies while you live as a depressed and lonely white man.

Negative yield isn't the same as negative interest rate. Although we might see the latter soon enough.

Why are you against sharia, which fixes all these problems?

Going back to stone age has its own problems.

Dilate, tranny.

This is the real question. Sharia banking may save us all yet.

good luck stashing $1T. post google earth coordinates.

let's say I am a bank that need to park some cash, do I put it in a bond or do I take out a mountain of cash and then stick it in a vault and pay a security company to guard the vault?

see by government he means central banks

there are not many things you can do with $1T. the only viable thing is lend it to governments. anything else would destroy the economy. you can't even invest in AMZN or MSFT without impacting their price significantly. you might safely invest $100B-$200B in some balanced portfolio of precious metals, real estate, stocks, etc., distributed globally.

but what the fuck would you do with $15T (or whatever the new number for negative yielding debt is globally)? anywhere else you put this, you are going to lose more than the negative bond.

i don't think you realize how much $1T means.

except most money is digital though. You're already paying for vaults to stash your gold there

fag, all the USD cash and coins in circulation added up is not even $2T. good luck storing $15T in a vault.

It's when you have a big amount of money to stash and you don't know what to do with those, you put there because there's a promise that you will lose less money than putting them into real economy or collapsing banks.
Here end basically stolen money from the libcuck rotten system.

Not an argument.

I couldn't even store a billion in a vault. It makes sense to me why people would invest in a negative yield bond instead of packing it into a vault, especially when you're operating with multi billions worth of value

haha yeah. the thing that doesn't make sense is why those negative yielding bonds exist in the first place. that is the real giveaway the current timeline is headed for a correction the likes the history of the world has never seen yet.

i'm gonna get so fucking rich from this financial apocalypse. i'm unironically excited.

With silver?
