RSR finally ready to fly

When is Nevin going to give us some fucking information. We literally have no idea how on track they are for this because there's been no blog post for months. I believe in this project but I wish they'd actually engage.

Not sure, I've heard there's an exclusive deal with huobi that expires soon so they can then get on other exchanges. The team also doesn't speculate on exchange listings so listings will never be priced in. Also coinbase ventures invested in this so a coinbase listing isn't impossible 2020

Nevin stated they aren't worried about US exchanges. Meaning, coinbase and others are locked in. They launched on Huobi to get a head start on asian adoption.

I thought they aren't worried because they are focusing on countries with hyper inflation. But I hope you're right

If you read the blogs about integrity, transparency, and ethical business practices, the only explanation is that they have some serious shit going on in the background that they simply can't comment on due to NDA or some other red tape. Otherwise, they are leaving us in the dark. You need to remember this is a silicon valley based start up with near infinite money. They have an experienced lawyer working full time on the team and the former SEC advisor, meaning they can neither make mistakes, nor risk any operation in a very sensitive industry. But yeah, it's getting boring shilling this each day and talking about the same shit over and over.

im not worried about updates or exchanges. i have a lot of faith in the project and im considering this a long-term hold. it's fun to see new updates and of course it will be nice to see those updates boost the price once you have your bags, but something tells me they know what they're doing so I'm just going to wait and see how things play out. drawing less attention from potentially hostile governments is a good thing and if you don't think those governments are watching this project then you're a bit naive. the reserve team is intentionally being stealthy.

with the exception of a few AMA's they're trying to avoid hyping things (for now), until they get a feel for how much push back they actually get and how well they're able to handle it.

it's also possible that they're being a bit overly cautious, but better safe than sorry.

Maybe someone here can tell a brainlet like me if the new binance coin (venus) is not basically exactly what RSR is planing to do? Binance has a much further reach so they might steal the show or I am missing something here.

have you read the whitepapers? reserve plans on being completely decentralized and the goal is to remove the dollar peg once there's enough asset diversity. not sure if this is the same thing as venus or even libra. another difference is that reserve is specifically targeting hyper inflation areas with the goal of getting local merchants to accept payments via the rsv app. they're also not asking for permission from governments because they know that most of these governments will be hostile to this and so they will most likely have a vpn built-in along with kyc that is being used to remain compliant with US sanctions.
