High School Reunion Financial Blunders

I'm 2 years away from my High School Reunion.

I have my bachelors in mechanical engineering, student debt paid off, but living at home, paying $1,000 per month in rent, trying to save for a house. No car, decent job paying $50,000 per year, no savings basically just winging it.

What is the best way to save/spend my money in 2 years to show off to my high school friends that I made it? I'm already working out to get in peak physical shape in 2 years, but I'm also trying to get a nice car to show off and obtain validation I shouldn't be seeking in the first place

You haven't made it. $50k a year is shit and you're living at home.

If serious you don't have enough money to be worried about appearances

why are your shitty parents charging 1k a month in rent?

> paying $1,000 per month in rent
To your parents? Seems like their not really giving you that good of a deal, pending where you live I guess. Just rent something cool like a Tesla or Porsche for a week. Better yet, just get dropped of via airplane.

>worries about appearances at a hs reunion 2 years in the future

The only way to make it is to kys for being a colossal faggot and save your classmates and us the pain of having to hear you express one more thought out of your pathetic mind
