/RG/ Research General

After a similar kind of thread yesterday a few solid and industrious anons agreed that we should establish this general thread to really look deeply into projects with the potential to mune bigly.

Second purpose of this thread is to call out and bully retarded bagshillers.

Rules: well thought out and reasonable posts only. No scams. We WILL know if you're jeeting your bags, and we WILL bully you.

Any advice for a newbie looking to learn to tell the difference between legit prospects and scams? What things should I be looking at when I check out a project?

Dunno man. Shill threads usually have 1 post by OP then a low effort spamming by many different posters that fud other projects in a retarded fashion.

If a project is good it will stand up to scrutiny. Which is the purpose of this thread

Best bets at the moment and why?
I literally don't even know what a single project except HOT and LINK hope to achieve

I would be hesitant to make an suggestions. I was hoping someone else would get the ball rolling. The board's most shilled lowcaps that haven't really mooned are Morpheous Labs, Digitalbits, RSR and a few others but some of them have insufferable jeet squads connected to them lol so they could be prime to pump but my opinion will be biased against them < this happened with Link :^(

Checked btw

I've been researching DigitalBits for the past few day and I'm convinced I've found something that will be stay the course for a while. It's a stellar fork with an inbuilt DEX that uses something called multi-hop tech to provide liquidity for digital assets that do not have much of a direct market. They're targeting the loyalty points industry as an initial usecase which is a sick idea imo. It's a nearly 50 billion USD market with 16billion in unclaimed orphaned/forgotten loyalty points that are ripe for conversion. That's like 30% of the sectors value unredeemed and cast away. The main plus point of this approach is that it will migrate potentially millions to blockchain technology making it so that this massive market comes on chain, without the people using it even noticing. I'm banking on it spurring adoption in a big way in the next few years. Happy with my stack but will be buying dips

Nice trip sir

I've been on to MITX for a while. First saw it on leddit low cap crypto board heres the pasta that I have bookmarked:

""Morpheus Labs is aiming to bridge the gap between Blockchain technology and the business world by building an enterprise-grade blockchain platform with an additional blockchain app marketplace that enables organizations of any size to develop, deploy and operate distributed applications. Their Blockchain as a service platform (BPaaS) will allow companies to build, test and manage applications using different Blockchain protocols to achieve rapid prototyping, cost efficiency, in a fail-safe environment. Looking at they have had their ICO while ETH was around $500, and what they have been doing during this bearmarket is beyond me. They have profound partners like NULS, Quarckchain, NEM, Vechain, and more to be announced very soon. They will have very close collaboration with all of their partners which you will notice very soon.

More info about the tokenomics:medium.com/@morpheuslabs_io/token-economics-of-the-morpheus-labs-ecosystem-ed56650190 You wil notice how well thought these tokenomics really are! Not to mention their 7 revenue streams already set up. 7! To show their continued commitment to Morpheus Labs and the community, Chuang Pei-Han (CEO & Founder) and Branson Lee (Founder) made the decision to extend the lock-in period of their token shares from 15th April 2018 to 14th Oct, 2019 (for total of 18 months). This decision is made purely on a voluntary basis and is a result of the long-term commitment of the founding team. This is a serious statement of trust in their capabilities, and confidence in their product in my opinion! Another important topic is that they will burn 45% of total supply gradually with a burn in Q1 of 50.000.000 tokens. There will also be a new exchange to be announced very soon + their platform will go live on the 25th of January! Something to look forward too!"

We did it reddit

Why the RSR hatred?

Shits legit

The jews are obviously make a coordinated fud campaign against RSR. Its absolutely nothing to do with the terrible jeeting we see going on from RSR shills

I fuckin knew it

Nearly all current projects outside of btc are crap desu. Think long term & why the token/native currency will accrue value. Also is the technology up to par - e.g. recently I've learned more about POS consensus mechanism & am not bullish longterm on any blockchain using it. Erc20 utility tokens are p useless too so that wipes out tons more. Otherwise you can trade on hype - muh partnerships, exchange listings etc. It's obvious new money entering the space will focus primarily on btc at this point with a select few other projects doing well. And on a shorter time scale multiple p&ds in between. You really need to research for yourself & not listen to shills here, they've become progressively worse.

Use a weed out approach.

Learn what real world value the project in question is bringing to the table. This should get rid of most projects because most add nothing. Is it already a real world software solution? Does making it decentralized make sense?

Once you’ve honed in on legit projects your next step is to actually try the service they’re providing for yourself. Is it a smooth customer experience? If you were a large corporation could you see yourself integrating it?

The final step is to research the team. Do they have the connections necessary to get their idea off the ground and bring it to larger enterprises? What is their background?

Take all of these measures and you should be able to find the winners that are out there.

no info to share cos I'm a timelet but if any autists have some copy pastas on the following i would be hugely appreciative TOMO, RSR, XCM

IDEX token
>10M marketcap
>Staking rewards
>ROI tied to volume
>Yesterday announced coinbased parnership
It's basically a real revenue generating business and now is integrated into Coinbases's WalletLink, so coinbase users are going to be able to trade IDEX shitcoins nad stakers are going to get the fees.
BNB like run in the making.

look at volume on a project. low mcap coins will have low volume, but if there's a bunch of people saying "thanks pajeet i just bought a 1m stack!!!" and the daily volume is $10, then it's a coordinated shill group

scam projects usually have a vague wording of buzz words that are used to lure in stupid people,
things like:

"decentralized platform used to facilitate new peer to peer payments on the hashimoto algorithim"

using complex words but not explaining anything, basically just trying to psychologically bully you into thinking your too stupid to understand it and its way above your head making you think its some big new thing.

Also just shit like well put together memes or images, alot of these shitcoins are just random people waiting for someone to buy some of their shitcoin before they drop some of their bags to take their money.

From another thread XDB Digitalbits
$2.4m marketcap
185,055,555 circulating supply
No more token unlocks until 2020
40% of total supply locked into an algo pool.
Rumours of major partnerships/announcements are floating around.
Focused on the loyalty points/rewards industry which is billions of dollars worth of untouched recognition.

Reason I'm so bullish on XDB is, what if they were to partner with someone or a wallet where these loyalty points/rewards are directly connected to crypto spending and on the blockchain. XDB has only been trading just over a week now and has been sitting sideways, most likely being accumulated.
This is noticeable as I have seen FUD spread because others realise the potential and want to grab as much as possible for the cheapest price.

If these rumours of partnerships/announcements are true, imagine what kind of movement XDB can do being at such a low marketcap and under the radar.

Unironically I have loaded major bags and super comfy. I've done my research on this and happy to share this opportunity.

Not only this but I haven't even got started on the CEOs past success and the fact they have a former CMO of walmart as an advisor.
