I've been meaning to buy some gold. I like the idea of the x0g 'sheets' with easily divided 1g sections, but the premiums on those kind of suck. Not particularly attached to coin aesthetics, and eventually I'd like to use my PM collection to make jewelry, so I don't actually care about the form it's in. EOY probably why would you want to sell your gold for fiat? it's not looking good for the USD and other currencies. I'm not sure if a lot of people will park money in BTC, but there is a bright future for gold & silver since they are not in a bubble unlike every other assets.

this is my 10-year old stack that I've dusted off for these Jow Forums threads. I'm starting to fomo back into accumulating because of negative interest rates and Jow Forums threads. Jow Forums hasn't let me down yet.
If I was starting over again, I wouldn't have bought the 1000g meme coins from Australia, and would have gotten more canadian junk silver instead. It's cheaper and you're holding actual history in your hands. More divisible too.
One thing I'm grateful for is that I didn't buy rounds or bars. I spent just a little more to get government-issue, so it's all legal tender, and recognizable worldwide.

Are you telling me that you are buying sub-25 ounces at a time when silver is this cheap? It's way cheaper to buy 25 or 100 at a time, and you get the plastic sleeves free.
