i never plan on selling my btc even if it goes to 0, but how do i profit like you did when it does go to zero

Listen Elmo, you're a good guy so I'll just tell you. I think I can speak for most bears here that ultimately, we want to see it reach new all time highs. Just now's not the time for it. Not especially now with the same delusional optimism that was so prevalent in Dec 2017 that's popping up everywhere. Maybe I'm just cynical that roll my eyes when I start hearing things like "new reserve currency" and the idea that 5 figure bitcoin is the new paradigm but maybe bears are the only ones who can remember things past the last bull/bear cycle.

It's time for a correction.

There hasn't been another cycle. A new cycle would imply a new ATH. A lot of bears don't seem to realize that the last bull run lasted for years, rather than for the handful of months we've been in 2019's uptrend, since most of the current ones just bought the top in 2017. Bitcoin only existed in their minds starting at $1000+; in reality the bottom of the last cycle was $300 and so far it's only done a 3xs. Unless "this time it's different" it's doing another 20xs from here though gains have been diminishing each cycle so $100,000 by the end of this one is reasonable. A $12k top really isn't and would indicate a dead cat bounce.
