Please god, someone here give me some sound advice. I fell for this stupid fucking college meme. I am depressed as shit and ready to kill myself. I had a full ride at a respectable university, but everyone and my parents goaded me to go to a college with a higher goy ranking and now I'm literally taking out $10k per year in private loans + roughly $5k in government loans to attend. I knew I would be depressed if I had to bear such weight financially, but I didn't listen to myself and instead listened to others. I feel trapped, and utterly have no fucking idea what to do. Semester starts tomorrow, and I cannot pull the trigger on another $10k private loan. I simply cannot.
DO I FUCKING DROP OUT!? JESUS FUCKING CHRIST I CANNOT DO THIS TO MYSELF.
I'm a QF major and would make good money coming out of school, but I just can't fucking take on this crazy amount of debt without feeling like I'm perpetually fucked.
I'm only one year in, so starting sophomore year. So I'm already roughly $15k in debt (although not really because of my crypto portfolio). I just don't want to dig a deeper hole for a stupid fucking piece of paper when the economy is showing clear signs of collapsing. Please god someone help me.
Kevin Rivera
Please someone. I'm not trying to be a self-bumping faggot, I just have nothing left. I'm on my last life string. Just some advice from anyone of you.
fuck all of you. helped you all make money off link, rvn, and others, and you can't even give advice. You guys just want the livestream link don't you?
Anthony James
If your estimated salary the first year out of college is larger than the total amount of loans you will have, go for it. Drop or find another major if it doesn't. That's it.
You dont want advice, you want someond to tell you what you want to hear, drop out and work at mc donalds, it booms during recessions
Ryan Howard
People who take student loans and don't graduate are the group of student loan holders that struggle the most. You need to graduate faggot.
If you can just transfer to a cheaper university.
Parker Davis
well you fucked up, should have gone with the free university, but you already know that. i think it would be worse to drop out now, the deal is done and you are already in some debt. what fucks most people is that they start to look for a job only after they finish college. and when they aren't able to find it quick enough, they aren't able to keep up with payments and the interest kick in like crazy. out of desperation they take any kind of shit job just to make it through the month and are then traped in the perpetual loop of shit wage slaving and making the smallest payments possible thus not even touching the principal od debt. what you need to do is pay the debt as soon as possible when you graduate. make sure you have a job waiting for you, make friends with people that have connection, try to save some money while studying and ask your parents for financial help. also making close friends with some rich kid whose father already has a nice little job waiting for him, can't hurt. you might aswell try to get in through that

>helped you all make money off link, rvn, and others
this is your problems
shitcoins
just drop out of uni
its not for you, you fucking cunt
John Parker
>QF major >buying shitcoin

Chase Ross
is this what they call zerg mentality, send your kid to college because everyone else is doing it, which means on average they will be successful?
Sorry OP i guess your that 25% that fell off the cliff.
Jonathan White
So I dont get this OP. 15k a year, you have 2 years left so 30k more, but when you graduate, you'll make "good" money? I'm guessing 100k+? Seems to me like a good investment. Think this all through rationally without the fear of debt. I would understand you if you were paying 15k a year for some bullshit degree, but if you'll really find a job that pays well, then finish your degree. Of course what the fuck do I know, I'm 19 and going to uni for free since I'm not from burgerland.
You are already in the hole, better finish what you started.
Then aggressively pay down your debt while you only rent a room and are frugal.

Get a job

Fuck you nigger. It has nothing to with performance. I graduated as valedictorian of my high school, and am doing fine in college. It’s the fact that stupid fucks brainwashed me to attend the more expensive school, and now I regret my course of action for one of the biggest decisions in my life. College is cake, but it doesn’t matter if I’m going to have less financial freedom to make investments in my early years as an adult and miss out on the shit that will actually make me rich.
Luis Hughes
These “shitcoins” made my 6 grand last year into 230 grand today. I bought link @ 2k sats and sold at 34k. Keep coping
Cameron Hall
I appreciate the reasonable advice. Every other faggot in this thread kicks someone who is already clearly in the hole, admittedly, and simply asking for help.
Adam Carter
> asking seriously for advice on biz > a board shit by 98% teens, wagies and neets
you deserve no degree anyway
Liam Anderson
My advice was perfectly reasonable, you're just mad because I called you a faggot.
This isn't reddit my friend.
Eli Edwards
what are your options right now, what degree do you have and how much would you earn in a year? What are the prospects for studying further, could you do it without dropping out? If yes, how much would you earn then? Now put those numbers together and see how much time you lose by taking on loans.
Take a deep breath, fren. You're going to be fine. Finish your degree, grind at your wagie job to pay it off, and then reassess from there.
You're going to be okay.
Levi Wright
Take the loan and finish your degree. You're under the impression that paying off your student loans will need to happen ASAP post-graduation, and this isn't the case. Focus on getting a good job, setup auto-payments on the loans with the minimum due until you're comfortable with contributing more, and don't stress about the debt just as millions of Americans don't stress about their insurmountable mortgages. This is wagie life, user. It's just how things are. Your credit score will never go down for having a large student loan that you're working to pay off, but your credit score will actually crash if you try to pay it off too soon and don't have a varied credit history. One day at a time, user. Don't sweat this.
William King
>paying student loans
Megatier cuckoldry. Don’t pay it, what are they gonna do, evict you from your degree?
Imagine being forced to pay for a college degree Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha I am studying for free here in Germany Living on 10k$ a year for rent, food and going out, like a fucking king. Ameritards are really the biggest losers out there
Evan Jackson
if you are going to drop out do it with a plan not just cause you dont wana go. join military, get a job as an aid in a hospital, get a job in trades. find something that will teach you a useful skill.
Cooper Perez
you clearly already know the decision you want to make, user. I made a similar decision myself a year ago. I too was very depressed in school and so I dropped out. Much happier now but it would depend on your circumstances.
David Baker
That’s not that much user bro, you’ll pay it off in 4 years with a decent enough amount left over to buy some stuff during those years. You’re just stressed out from your classes and life in general. Don’t obsess on it, it WILL drive you crazy and there’s no reason to let it.
