>>spending money on degrees in 2019 when all the knowledge on the internet is available for free.
Here is the best advice for anyone about to turn 18.
Fuck College.
take 2 years to learn a skilled trade using internet or bartering your time to a tradesman
find a field that preferably pays over 50k per year with opportunity to move up to 100k
>>turn 20.
>>nodebt.jpg
>>live like a miser for the next 2 years.
>>Only focus on your work, eating healthy self prepared meals from the grocery store produce section
>> you should be able to save up 40k in 2 years if you pinch pennies in every possible way
>> take 50k, put a down payment on a house
>> have your friends room in the house. They can pay the bills while you build equity for free
>> begin to save again
>> ask your fucking shithead boss for a raise.
>> now making 60k - feelsgoodman.jpg
>> with your friends paying the home bills, and you learning how to make the most of doing favors for food around the house you should be able to save 100k over the course of the next 4 years.
>> begin search for income properties.
>> find a 4 family fixer up home for 200k in the burbs. put down payment of 60k and do 40k in repairs and refurbishments.
>>BOOM your networth is now over 200k with the equity built in your home and income property.
you are now 26 years old with an income property, your own home, a great trade job and the prospect to make more money and obtain more investments as you grow older.
alternatively 26 year olds with degrees are 200k in debt and wiping their ass with their degree working at chick fil a
