Blizzard stock

This is the list of blizzard games, most of them are 10 year old.. they haven't made any PC game in the last 6 years.
They invest in, and spend their time on converting Diablo 3 to a mobil-phone game, and now a relaunch of world of Warcraft.

This is not a good buy, they need to come up with something new - either continue these legacy series e.g. SC3, diablo4. or do something new..
They need to commit to a path, they can't just continue to do nothing.

Like all the large gaming company's the actual artists got ran off by corporate types who are only concerned with loot boxes and micro transactions. There's a bill in congress that would totally nuke those monetization options. I hope it passes. It's probably the only way to get good games again.

Not just blizzard but games in general. There was a point in time that a lot of folks would buy at least 1-2 games brand new full price every year. Now barely anybody does it.

I'm going hard on blizz stocks. Even if they have a rocky launch (which they literally always fucking do) it's gonna penetrate the normiesphere and get a LOT of publicity. If the worst they have are a few bugs laggy servers it won't matter. It didnt matter for Nintendo stock after pokemon go. I don't think it's a good stock to hold though. Imo buy this stock today and sell it a few days after launch.

There is a reason why so many modern movies are sequels, prequels, standalone sequels and reboots of classics. Easy to make and profit. Videogame companies are following this trend now with "HD Remastered" remakes of classics. Easy money, little effort.

Last good release was SCII and after 2 months of play the only reason I ever launched it was to play the free user made arcade games. This was also at the peak of my teenage video game addiction when I racked up over 9 months of in-game WoW played time by 16.

If they couldn't hook me at the peak of my addictive behavior they will miss this generation entirely. All they were competing with when they were marketing to my generation was runescape and xbone console games. The zoomer generation isn't going to pay to spend 20 hours a week farming materials and deal with 1-week raid cool down timers when they can go play 15 dopamine-packed rounds of fortnite in a row for free.

They're a disaster who shit on their core fans(WC/Diablo) players in the name of money. Their only hope at redemption is WOWC, WC3Reforged launching and being flawless, and Diablo 4 at least announced and be equally flawless.

everything "new" they are creating is just remastered versions. and honestly the graphics of the new ones are not that impressive. WoW never appealed to me, so the only release that had me excited was HOTS in the last decade.

It's not, which is why they have to remaster their actual classics to stay relevant. I fully expect a remastered D2 to be announced next year when they fuck up diablo 4. The fact that they are saying they want to return to the dark, gritty feel of diablo...2, not diablo 1 which was actually dark and gritty shows they are fucking retarded. My #1 complaint with diablo 2 was, is and will always be that it lacked the dark feeling of diablo 1. The music, and entire atmosphere was dark as fuck. Wandering around the catacombs was as fucking dark as can be. But We're going back to the cartoonish feel of diablo 2, which diablo 3 captured perfectly. Like wut?

And again, diablo mobile isn't happening. They've had it done, finished, polished, in their hands since January, with no launch date. That shits dead.

D3 is dope- it really is a solid game and new seasons mix things up

Also if you make a new engine, people will complain that it doesn't feel like D2 anymore. The clunky and buggy desync mechanics is an integral part of the game.

It's the same reason why there are many that prefer Brood War over SC2: SC2's engine feels too smooth and polished, and leaves no space for small bugs that skill can overcome. SC2's mechanics lack character.

Starcraft gold source cd was literally lost and found at a garage sale by some dude who was courteous enough (dumb enough) to send it back to Blizzard. Google it, its quite possible.

here is why i hated lod. in lod the best items in the game are unique items. everyone uses the same items. once they get these unique then you dont need to keep looking for better items. this is half of the fun of the game. in d2 classic a smarter player can equip rares with suffixes.prefixes that give him advantage over someone who isn't as smart.

reason 2. everyone can get to level 99 in lod. in d2classic it was impossible. you could keep playing for months and never get enough xp. so the leader board is actually relevant. you can see who the best player is on the leaderboard.

reason 3. i preferred to join a game, hostile everyone, and solo chaos sanctuary while everyone else stayed in town like a scared bitch. in lod you get more exp in a team. so even weak players can climb ladder

4. i liked how there was no delay to use way points when you hostiled someone. it was easier to pk the top players.

5. in lod there is monster resistances. that's fucking bullshit.

6. i liked getting exp in act 4/chaos sanctuary/killing diablo over act5/baal hall/baal

if they make d2 remastered i want them to make the chaos sanctuary randomized dungeons. because it gets boring. and make it easier to die in cs at highest levels.

also having mercs in lod is gay as fuck
