If you don't have any moving experience id reccomend working for a mover for a couple weeks, other than that its so easy to get work a crack head nigger could do it, its just tough ass work, and if you don't do it right, you end up paying for broken shit, but once you get started and can figure out what works for you it can be pretty profitable if you don't take out loans or partner with anyone else.

You should have around 15k$ to do this comfortably and look professional, but I've definitely seen people get started with half of that, but they had to partner up, if you do your research about truck prices and other tools, you can probably have several thousand to spare from the 15k. For each truck you want at least 40 moving blankets(400$)

Plastic furniture wrap
Set of multiple size jumbo furniture rubber bands

Man with a van, common thing actually. Get a van, advertise on Craigslist. Set a fixed price or base price and add gas prices plus labor.
About giving jobs to people you like, recruit people with vans. Give them benefits (i.e. gas cards)

Make sure you come up with a contract for the customer to sign before every move, i was getting ready to start my own moving company, i took a contract from my boss lol but i fucking hate moving, and i didn't really like most people we moved for that much.

There are three types of moving companies that I know of.

1) Company brings people directly to your house and move objects into a truck. They then bring it to your new location.
2) Company brings large storage that you fill yourself. They then move it to wherever your new location may be.
3) Company does the same as above, but they move it to a shipping yard and you have to move the objects from the yard to your house.

All three are already full of business, so you'll have to find something either more convenient or lower price than the rest.

If you can't afford a truck, you can rent them daily from uhaul, cost like over 100$ a day and some gas for a full work day, but you should net around 300-600$ depending on how busy you are/how much you charge/ etc.. but realistically it will be more like 200$ a day when you're starting off and making mistakes, still not bad but its not a walk in the park.
If you decide to rent uhauls from the start, then you could get away with starting your business with around 5k$. But ideally you want 7-15k$. Good luck fren!
