This. I got into welding and let me tell you that the trades and ESPECIALLY construction are populated by nothing but subhumans. I'm a younger guy with lots of ambition so I don't mind working my ass off for a few years to raise some money to invest, but anyone with a few brain cells will be leaving for something more easy on the body or at the very least very well paid so it actually compensates the toll it takes.

I'm no neurotypical so I'm not going to stay at a crappy job 30 years just because I know the people and have friends and acquaintances in the industry. Not gonna let them keep me down.
