Didn‘t realize there was new bread. Today‘s dingdingding. I really like this port its gonna do well.
Real glad I took my losses when I did... apparently everyone who wanted a gun bought a lifetime supply during obama’s Administration.
I like it too, but I’m in too deep. You don’t expect me to just sell these bags down here, do you?
I also haven’t figured out your methodology, remind me to look into it tomorrow. I also rode the tqqq bull a bit today, made a few bucks, lost everything everywhere else.
Glad you could get out before you lost everything user. How many McChickens did you lose?
Blake Perry
what other brands do you think will move in a similar direction? I want to play their earnings
Wyatt Young
I can write a more detailed post when I‘m not phoneposting. Here‘s the current hodlings tho. Weights are tuned to maximize sharpe ratio on the efficient frontier.
Now I’m getting scolded for diversification? I also only have 1 share of PEP and 1 share of LMT, you gonna make fun of me for that, too?
Oliver Wright
I've been wondering about the margins on AR-15 manufacturing for a while. If you look at companies like PSA they're selling complete rifles for like 300 bucks, a S&W M&P II is 450. How the hell do you even tool 6 pounds of steel for that much less turn a profit? On the one hand I'm glad our society is saturated by weapons, but on the other how is this profitable?
razor and blades model. They make all the money on ammunition.
Joshua Howard
>I also only have 1 share of PEP and 1 share of LMT, you gonna make fun of me for that, too? I will. If you want diversification buy an index fund. If you want to succeed in a meaningful way focus on several stocks with big futures that you know in and out.
neither PSA not AOBC/S&W manufacture ammo baka! AOBC does own crimson trace who sell overpriced chicom lasers for your larp oper8r gun, so there's that, and gemtech suppressors which are pure profit due to being just sheet metal so I guess that's the model.
Alexander Anderson
So do you guys think we'll see a return to panic buying-driven growth as mass shooting inevitably happen during the election? I've got a handful of RGR and I'm planning to dump it if Trump gets re-elected, or ride the panic buys if a Dem wins.
Caleb Gutierrez
>panic buys if a Dem wins >Not understanding that a dem win in this cycle = stock market collapse
>Now I’m getting scolded for diversification If you're so diversified, why do you care about a few cents of losses? Actively trading with a few dollars per transaction is a waste of time. You'd make more money if you just work and put your salary in an ETF or blue chips.
Connor Turner
Yeah some schmuck bought $1 million worth of Jan 2020 $205 puts

Let's talk about Kraft Heinz
Valuable brands: Heinz, Velveeta, Philadelphia Cheese, Kraft Mac & Cheese, Planters
Neutral brands:. Kool Aid, Jello, Cool Whip, Folgers, Kraft Singles
Shit brands:. Oreida, Oscar Meyer, Cheez Whiz, Lunchables
As you can see the good brands and neutral brands greatly outweigh the shit brands and they are criminally undervalued.

Is that why vista outdoors did so well last quarter? They were once my highest flying stock I was up like 20 something percent on them for a while. On my one share, before it crashed and I decided I was sick of having these one share position crowding up my portfolio
Just fucking with us, right?
Anyhow anyone who wanted guns got them when Obama was president and they thought Hilary was going to be president.
Camden Collins
damn, just holding those shares would him 816K per year and 204K per quarter in dividends alone.
damn gib me shares for divies
Gabriel Torres
Holy shit you guys the store must be really terrible for Trump to have to cancel his trip to Poland!
I love you Puich Chad, but I’m already far too deep into THC to get more. Could you tell me about Campbell’s and smuckers instead? I want to be a real foodchad, and a couple shares of PEP isn’t enough.
How bout them uncrustables? Bitches love uncrustables.
I'm not foodchad but Campbell's is shit. Stick with Pep.
Logan Robinson
Extremely, it’s like 1/3 of the economy.
Sebastian Butler
If there's interest sure, I've got nothing going on tonight. I don't wanna host one if nobody finna show up tho. It's time for my after-work nap, I'll be back in a few hours
What do I market order buy in tomorrow without thinking?

Reposting from old thread: Getting somewhat concerned about potential volatility in the bond market. It could be a year or so till a recession truly kicks in and theres room for the treasury market to come down off these highs before then. Anyone know a good way to hedge against yield volatility?
Jeremiah King
How do you select which stocks to buy?
I've been using finviz to screen for stocks with a p/e below 25, positive EPS growth and an RSI below 50

bitcorn selling off badly as expected, not even pink wojaks anymore around. still possible long down side, overall bitcorn still valuable half gold half currency but likely need muuuuch lower price touch
U.s. market starting to stabilze and consolidate now it seems. yields touching long term resistance in usa. european bonds total disaster. oil not willing to sell below 50 it seems
Im a retard that looks at eps and some background of the company and I ask myself if I think this company will do better in the future.
Tyler Nelson
I go with my gut and my balls. When I see a set up I like, I reallocate shekels. Then sometimes I'll look at it and not see a set up I like so I'll just go with my gut and pick up some ATM options.
Brody Ward
Yields are going back up. You should be in equities because the recession is cancelled. Trade deal is almost here, and it's going to be the biggest and greatest thing in the history of our countries foreign relations.
Luke Clark
im not going to say its an amazing company, but it sure does have its fair share of good stuffs

Campbells will be the next Pepsico with snyders lance. currently paying off the debt at a reasonable pace
SJM has the most diverse petfood portfolio besides nestle and will flourish while millennial and zoomers have more pets to fill their lonely existence
>I'm willing to bet that the new troops are individual vetted for loyalty to the CCP who are more than willing to recreate Tiananmen. Careers will be made. Dudes are gonna be on the gravy train for life after this.
I think you mean learning why that stuff matter. A 45 p/e could be good or bad depending on a lot of factors
Blake Taylor
>bitcorn selling off badly as expected, not even pink wojaks anymore around. still possible long down side, overall bitcorn still valuable I think a lotta people are in a "buy a little stack and forget about it until the next 10x over ATH" kinda mode. Whatever bitcorn does before that point is whatever. Or maybe that's just me.
Jason Adams
na.. i disagree.. i've seen stocks with negative p/e fly.. i've seen stocks with low p/e constantly sink.. i've seen stocks with high p/e continue to climb without growth in their actual business... it's all smoke and mirrors man
Retard here Saw something in the news about bonds yield curves or whatever Is the economy gonna crash or what?
Nathaniel Torres
Thats what i just fucking said retard
Jaxon Brown
whats this about >A 45 p/e could be good or bad depending on a lot of factors how could that be good or bad.. i'm saying none of it matters...... like none of it........
Have a covered sell call with a premium of 0.03 per share. If I want to buy back my covered sell call, then I just go get a buy call for the exact same strike price and if possible same or lower premium. Is that correct?
Any risks I'm failing to see? Like am I going to be out double the cash until the calls expire or get called?
>2019 >Not investing with such a margin of safety that you could personally liquidate the company's assets for a higher price than you paid for your shares.
yeah if you're short an option and you want to close it, you just buy the same strike and same date. Price could be different depending on the greeks, but thats how you exit the position before the strike date.
Kayden Hill
He's just gotta get a buy call to cancel out his sell call.
Luke Carter
umm... really?? have you never seen a stock with negative p/e?? lol wat?
Carson Cooper
Kraft has been bleeding money for years, no thanks.
Jonathan Nelson
what has KHC done to stop this are they working on something? have they been doing any restructuring anywhere? any new management?
Samuel Harris
>Made a covered sell call at $X.XX, premium of 0.03 >Realize I screwed up on premium >If it reaches strike price I lose out on 0.01 per share OR $45. >That and I believe the company has long term potential >If I buy a call at the same strike price and same premium then techincally I would break even minus any minor charges the government might charge
Not really sure how to word it better in regards stock specific terms as the stock market has some strange wording.
Cooper Baker
just slept like 16 hours haha wasn't even any reason for that
26% owned by Berkshire Hathaway. I’m a loading my truck up.
Wyatt Myers
Look, the thing is, that stuff doesn't really matter. What matters is the food and the brands. Could you imagine going into Costco and not seeing bulk boxes of Kraft dinner or shelves full of Heinz picnic packs? The brands are there. The money, the growth, that will all come when the time is ripe.
Wyatt Jenkins
You sold/wrote a covered call, you dingus. “Made a sell call”, Jesus Christ! Read up on options first or you risk losing a lot of money.
Daniel King
i think you need to lurk more...
i'm interested in KHC... but i wanna know those things because certain things will suggest a turn around in the company imo...
Levi Thomas
If your portfolio is big enough and you’re invested in ETFs or you’re very diversified, you could do that every day.
Hunter Butler
I made an error in a post on Twitter, but the post got a lot of likes before I could delete and correct it. Now I feel like a retard, but my pride won't allow me to just delete the stupid thing.
lol i had a friend that talked like that when it came to options "buy a sell call" lolololol i told him he should stop trading options until he understood them a little more.. he didn't listen and blew up a 15,000 account in about 3-4 months..........
Jacob Phillips
If you buy the bottom your looking at a nice Profit once they get shit sorted out plus you get a nice Divvy (0.40) while your waiting. The high was pushing mid 60s you know. The fact they ain't done any more Divvy slashing is a good tell; means they're confident in turning shit around. Normally Divvy Slashing is a favorite tactic to quickly ease the cash burn rate.
Also they know Divvy Slashing can work against them. Look at CTL,they cut the divvy in half. The stock sank like a rock not long after. This was after the ceo said "all's good here". So yeah..
Tyler Sanders
well cmon dude what was it I'll give you a "like" if you know what I mean
Parker Thompson
>pic god i fucking wish
Luke Rogers
How well were they fairing during 2008?
Tyler Harris
ownership by berkshire and 3G capital isnt necessarily a good thing, whats stopping them from extorting the company for massive fucking dividends and fucking over the common shareholder? nothing. (hint: its been done before, actually with Heinz but that was when it was private. a more recent example: OXY)
Mason Butler
I think if they jump into the "Fake meat" train they can make some bank. Hell they already got some product already but they just didn't market it well.
Michael Robinson
Hope these OLLI calls were a smart move, any kind of bounce back to find resistance makes me in the money. Opinions?
Nolan Smith
oh in case it wasnt clear, i believe that berkshire/3g together own 51% of KHC so the entire company is their's
Hunter Smith
T Babies still flying high. AMRN will be kicking the FDA's ass come Nov. You'll be able to get the Drug from your doctor by Christmas. Right in time to start the new year with a bang! Be able to down Bacontors with Glee with no fear of having the Big One while you eat.
Jaxon Kelly
After re-reading your post, I think you are asking how to buy to close. Assuming you are on Robinhood, you just put in a buy order. As a check, the header will say "1-Option Order" instead of "Long Call," and on the confirmation dialog, it will say "you're paying $X to buy back N open contracts..." etc. instead of "you're paying for the right..."
