Ubisoft entering blockchain

''When you buy a costume on Fortnite, your investment is lost, the accessory is locked in the game. If we use the blockchain, we give a physical existence to a digital element.''

Gamers are basically already using virtual currency. Ubisoft joining the blockchain industry is signs that the market is maturing and closer to mass adoption than ever.

Is Ubisoft going to launch a token?

Imagine investing in a shitcoin with only 7.7% of the total supply released

Based

Ubisoft partenered with Ultra. Announcement is coming, oh and Ubisoft isn’t the only big company who is partnering with Ultra ;)

>He’s doing research
>Pump zhe market

Who else? EA sports? Gtfo KEK In your dreams is Ultra going to partner with EA

The text in qutation marks screams of enjin. No one has or will come anywhere close to them in whst the are doing, I can bet my balls that they have partnered with enjin.

>Giving value to things that are essentially corporate donations
EA won't like that as it means they can sell less at full price.

Yeah Ultra stinks of a coordinated Discord PnD. Be careful if you invest. Could time it and make 20X or you could get scammed.

Sounds an awful lot like what Ultra wants to introduce, something really cool called crafting. You can “fuse” UOS tokens within their NFTs to guarantee an inherent value, which is at least the value of the fused UOS tokens. At any time, the owner of this NFT can “break” the NFT to get its contained UOS tokens back.

Fusing UOS to an NFT guarantees a floor price for us players, it also guarantees that developers will generate more revenue in the second hand market; When developers believe they have items that will be traded a lot, they have an incentive to create those items and lock UOS tokens in then because they will receive a sales revenue share every time this item is resold in game or on item trading platforms.

The team consists of all-star executives and prominent advisors with experience at companies as Google, Unity, Microsoft, Apple, Dell, *Ubisoft*, AMD and others.

I just leave it here for you to ponder about

To be honest, it’s just retarded not to get in UOS right now.

Ubisoft x Ultra is already confirmed with many articles laying around, insiders are already accumulating and volume is rising.

Shitskin, this is already what enjin is doing and I have at least 500 of their items from 20 different games, several playable right now.

This is gonna be the future of video game DLC isn't it? Artificially inflated currency you have to buy in order to buy additional content.

Yea your shitcoins are going nowhere. Blockchain on the other hand...

>Ultra
Another week, Another shitcoin

Reversal at play, volume and price picking up. Big anticipation is the Oktober beta which will increase demand for the UOS token hence pumping the price even more you tard.

Ultra players will also get rewarded, will be good for us gamers to get rewards and developers get more of the moneypot

Tell me why companies would want you to be able to resell your games. Ultra wants it, but they're not the ones making the games. They just take a % cut and don't care about anything else.

Spoiler: There is no reason why companies would allow you to resell your games, except for indie games that can barely move 1000 copies on Steam in a year.

Hello, investor in game collectibles here,
Which collectible regarding fortnite do you suggest to buy?
Now that it has blockchain the ownership will be even more ''limited edition proof''

Micro payments on top of the Blockchain with virtual currencies like UOS will be the future for the gaming industry. Why rely on game sales when there are vast array of ways to get income from your games. We have already seen the rise of micro transactions on mobile platforms and it keep creeping up to other platforms. Gaming companies already know this is the future and they will keep expanding on this.

AMD is in.

Blockchain is a software code. Crypto is childs collector novelty coins.
>know the difference
Blockchain is basically a public ledger, and makes a shit currency. Why anyone would want the universe to know where they spend and earn money is beyond me.

Btw, biz millionaire, own several companies that sell condiments and food goods.

Crypto is nothing but pump and dump shit coins....ex. brap coin

>Why rely on game sales when there are vast array of ways to get income from your games.
Because there is no way to get income from your games if it's a single player story experience. And mobile type microtransactions don't work on PC. Terrible shilling, this will not take off.

Have you seen fortnite, League of legends, Apex legends? These games use micropayments to get an income while they are basically free.

>be zoomer in burgerland
>play fortnite
>buy/sell/trade gear (and the corresponding non-fungible tokens) in-game
>forced to liquidate a portion of your items each time in order to pay Uncle Sam your crypto-to-crypto tax

>Allegedly

Let me guess, ultra P&D is making shit up again

You can buy from Bitfinex and Ethfinex(owned by Bitfinex). Volume is pretty low but they are looking for a market marker. Good thing is with low liquidity is that the price is easily manipulated.

Shh not yet

Ubisoft dropped the partnership for superior Ultra. Gilles is lying to keep the price high for his parties.

They're multiplayer games, not single player.

Ultra has an office in France where ex Ubisoft employees are working. They have basically already signed the contract but haven't disclosed it yet. Ultra is waiting for Ubisoft to announce the partnership. Ask the in the Telegram for confirmation @ultra discussion

That UOS piece of shit can't hold a candle to WAX. They have more established infrastructure, big dick EA money, and don't need to hire a pajeet brigade to shill them into relevance.

>ubisoft
shit company desu

As a gamer I do have a lot of games in my steam library that I'm not playing anymore and sometimes wish I could sell them to buy games I would be playing. I do get why it wouldn't sound logical towards gaming companies to make reselling possible but don't you think enough people would play it initially so to speak make the most amount of money? They could also work with DLC’s.

>french
dump it
>fr
dump it again
>
dump it again

Oof. How many bizfags will again miss this opportunity?

> I do get why it wouldn't sound logical towards gaming companies to make reselling possible but don't you think enough people would play it initially so to speak make the most amount of money? They could also work with DLC’s.
Makes zero financial sense. A developer is only making one game every three or four years. If you sell their game, you're not going to buy anything else of theirs. You'd buy another company's game. A developer's goal is to keep you playing the same game over and over, not to sell it and not come back when two years later drop another DLC or something.

Daddy give me your Cryptographic Ultra Money

Lets see how big the power of ULTRA will be. I bought my bag and now i am wondering what will happen. Maybe UBIsoft buys the Ultra project and use it as their new platform?

Attached: image (95).png (1920x1080, 922K)

Today i had a moment of hate on steam. I activated a game which i couldnt play in my region. Why da fuck can i activate it then???? Come please Ultra do something usefull as a platform. I will also dump all my shitcoins and buy UOS with it.

I can't decide about what bag i need to buy...........

Ubisoft will likely use ETH but scalability and speed issues have led them to grow more interested in EOS lately.

dgaf
ubisoft makes awesome games if you lower your expectations from the e3 vertical slices.

Rockstar is smart because they don't show anything until it's ready to launch.

Which fortnite collectible do you suggest to buy?
Now that gaming can have blockchain the ownership of ingame collectibles will be worthy

not even 0.00001 BTC volume...

>"I have a permanent record of the in-game items I own."
>game's online-only server shuts down anyway

>cointelegraph
