Ampleforth

I present to you...the coolest idea in crypto so far.

Is this the new SENT? It's not new, it's not a stable coin, what the fuck is it besides Joey Krugg's latest scam?

This is actually a huge ponzi idea for those who get in early. Once the price crosses $1.00, you get extra token for each day that it maintains above $1.05.

The unfortunate thing is that this is only available in bitfinex (and some kek uniswap exchange), which means there's almost no liquidity.

The good news is that Brian Armstrong invested it in personally, and Huobi Capital is behind it. If we are lucky to see AMPL get listed on Huobi, this shit is bound to cross $1.

It seems like another finex scam, judging by who's involved I smell some brock p. stank. This is just another shitcoin by people that have started other unsuccessful shitcoins. I don't see anything interesting about it except the SF level marketing, but it seems fake when you look at the supply and price performance. There's just no reason for it to exist.

This would sound good if it wasn't already 50 cents. I understand if you got in early and want to pump it now, but nobody here is going to be interested in a coin thats already turned out.

.50 is exactly why it is good right now. You buy at .50 and it has high potential of returning back to it's $1 pricepoint extremely soon.

I totally agree with you user. The only worth this ponzi coin depends on its protocol to give extra tokens.

This is like bitconnect but on an another level of scam. I'm still staying on the sidelines until I smell news that it will be listed on a proper exchange (at least a Tier B like Huobi), instead of scummy finex

It's worth paying attention to, but with gambling CEOs on the advisory board and this bitconnect level vibe I'm not feeling it. It also doesn't feel very early and I'm not sure I want to support these serial crypto dudes that just release a new shitcoin every three years.

Actually this makes alot of sense too. Great RR I'd say

how is this a ponzi guys? as far as i can tell, it's only creating price stability through supply changes. other coins just increase in price when demand goes up, this one increases in supply instead. how is it more of a ponzi than other coins? explain pls

things are no more the way they used to be.. oh no no no....

It's not. It's fairly neat actually and I'm surprised no one else has thought of it before. Got my bags loaded.

that sucks man, i hoped this would be some elaborate ponzi i could get in early. the idea with the supply changes isn't new btw

>i hoped this would be some elaborate ponzi

I'm pretty sure this paper is definition of pseudoscience. Seriously this might be the next Bitconnect level scammy shit.

this is probably the most soi name someone could come up with

Very simple user, let me explain it with this scenario:

Each time AMPL stays above $1.05, a person would get x% more token. Lets assuming the token price is now $1.20. Based on the calculation of rebase mechanism, you should be getting 0.66% more token for the day.

Now imagine more and more people hears about this. Token price pumps from $1.20 to $1.50. Daily rebase is now +1.6%.

If you bought in at $1.20, by the time it reaches $1.50, you would have earned from both the positive rebase tokens AND the surge in token price.

Now can you imagine what happens when the price goes beyond $2? $3?

This is a huge ponzi and more people (whether they're long time crypto traders or normies) will be attracted to it.

>Very simple user, let me explain it with this scenario:

So what happens when the price dumps?

Supply shrinks until it recovers

Where do the burned tokens come from? So is $1 the target? I heard someone say it wasn't a stable coin. Which is it?

The opposite happens when the price falls below $0.95.

When the price is above $1.05, it's a godlike Ponzi. When the opposite happens, it becomes a death spiral, like what is happening right now.

I just took a 5000 euro loan to go all in this coin
Am i going to make it?
I need to pay back 7000 eur in 1 year

We need flags

The pseudo-stablecoin math behind this coin means that tokens would get removed from your balance as the price goes up, nullifying your gains

No wtf, as the price goes up, you get more token. Do you even read user. Your portfolio grows more in USD (or BTC) value as this ponzi implodes
