JAP trader makes millions from trading

Wasnt this some trading glitch? Basically is the equivalent of catching that fat finger wick at 90% less than market

i remember his first huge trades, if he's getting this rich, he "knows people". or incredibly efficient/lucky with market swings

>natural habitat

my general belief is you cant be good at something without being completely passionate and obsessed about it that said, how would you use knowlege of knowing people to get a market meltdown correct, maybe you the positions of the guys buying and selling

Being good and lucky are really the same thing.

you think people who excel at their field are lucky?

Absolutely without exception, they are lucky in some way

Some big way

he started off with about 10000 in 2000, in the early 2000s he got lucky and bought equities that were fatfingered by a trader at a securities firm and he made 5-6 mil usd on a single trade. He claims that since then hes been doing momentum trades. Dont forget that the jap government has been liberalizing investing due to slowing growth + deflation. So day traders had a lot of chance to get cheap margin, cheap margin + overleverage + synthetic leverage from futures + major rallies in 2012-2015 = massive gains.

this post would make sense if it wasn't on Jow Forums
