Why its so hard to escape the wageslavery?

I tried to somewhat escape.

Attempted to start my own business. Long story short used to work on electronics and eventually moved towards a job working on medical devices. Eventually moved on from that to medical imaging is which where the money's at in the medical technology field. Worked as a field engineer going to hospitals and servicing stuff but honestly had alot of downtime since my "zone" is fairly rural.

One day I went to a facility to do routine maintenance on a mobile x-ray device, doctor there mentioned he had some other stuff broken if I could take a look at it. Told him it's obviously not under contract and I would be doing it basically under the table. Ended up making triple my hourly rate.

Do this at various other facilities. Get to the point I think I might attempt to make my own business. Long story short there's a lot of legal turmoil you have to go through in order to make a company that services anything in the healthcare field. Plus its practically impossible to compete with the larger healthcare conglomerates in region unless you have a foot in the door already

It's like that in every field: regulation, compliance and taxes form a unholy trifecta that keeps out non corporate competition. It's going to get to the point where government and corporate control is so overburdening that black market services are going to explode in popularity. I've found a niche in real estate where I can work for myself near tax free and with very little regulation and it is fucking great, especially compared to my work in the food processing industry.

Because literally the only two cures are plague out of nowhere or world war, neither of which you can start, and both of which you'd have to beat the odds and survive.

There's a lot of completely uninhabited forests around where you could go and build some cabin and live of the land. No one would bother you or even know of your existence. Except most people aren't strong enough to do this.

Because it's a mode of production were some assholes own the means of production, and 99% of retards work for them, even retards on the other side of the globe, because their work force (third world) is cheaper.
It's a mode of production were the owners owns, and were the non owners are in competition together to work to the owner. So you are in competition with chinese workers, and arabic, african workers.

What people need to do is calculate the absolute minimum amount of money they need to stop wage slaving.

To do this assume you are renting an apartment with one or more people, then add up all your expenses. Note: obviously the rented apartment/house is in an area where you don't need a car or even a bus rarely.

Do that and you get amount X.
But you aren't done. Now you need Y.
Where X stops you from waging, Y is what you need to invest and continue to accelerate away from the possibility that you would ever have to wage again.

Y for me is $1000 a month, which I feel is a good amount to invest each month. For you it may be lower or higher.

X+Y = Freedom!
