because the dollar value for most shitcoins that don't themselves have a direct dollar pair is driven by both the btc/usd ratio and the shitcoin/btc ratio. 99% of times when some shitcoin pumps in USD terms its purely because BTC pumped, which begs the question why not just own bitcoin in the first place then
