A business owner can choose not to work and still have their business to come back to. A wagie is removed from the business on someone else's whim.
What do you do?
>A business owner can choose not to work and still have their business to come back to. A wagie is removed from the business on someone else's whim.
if business owner stops working for too long his business will implode. why are you guys glorifying business owners so much? I guess most here have never been self employed or ran a business, its pure hell with 10x the responsibility of a ragie wagie.
Yea. I'm working during a company wide shutdown. And by working i mean sitting on the toilet.
>rich business owners are evil they dont do any work they're just sponges!!!!
>omg user why are you trying to be a business owner it's so much work. I'm just trying to help you out go-i mean guy.
>if business owner stops working for too long his business will implode.
Only if he fails to employ enough reliable wagecucks.
Does mandatory PTO count? The office is closed today and tomorrow because of this forced meme.
>Boss called a hurricane safety meeting on Friday
>Tells us take PTO until it's safe to come to work
>Everyone exchanges stupid hurricane prep ideas like buy bottled water and what to do when you can't flush the toilet because the power is out
We are in Orlando. The sun is shining. NOAA gives us 50% chance of tropical storm winds, 5% chance of hurricane winds. Orlando is so far inland that every hurricane that hits us is literally nothing.
I just realized the goy we're speaking to thinks "business owner" means self employment.
I mean, technically business owners don't have to work, but that's only after several years of working 80 hours a week.
As opposed to wagies who technically don't have to work after 50 years of working 40-60 hours per week
If you're a low IQ blue collar worker, yes.
If you're high IQ, you're probably a programmer and you can work from home, which is essentially like running a business that yields 100k a year in profit. Only you don't have to spend insane amounts of time building it, so you can have a social life too.
Got called in an hour early because someone else called in sick. I could have refused but it would be used against me later on to give me less hours or give me shitty rotas, so now I'm on my way to work.
