>quitting job without another lined up

Is this a bad idea?

Currently in this situation. I have approx 2.5 years living expenses (more if I sold off assets) and fucking hate my job.

its better to just line up a new job, maybe even start working and collect two paychecks for a while

yes it is a bad idea, don't do yourself a disservice of becoming a neet and burning money whilst you look for jobs

For me I always say I'm going to look for the next job or whatever but never actually do till I quit. Unless you're super motivated and can duck away from work whenever for interviews n such. Walk away if you have the Capitol for it

Normally yes, but I've done it before. My job had my cucking it so hard that I just didn't have the energy to look for another job. So I saved up, quit, then made my way while I was unemployed.

Im doing this rn, it sucks but my old job was a fucking dumpster fire and i think i was about to be purged anyway.

perfect way to restart your career back to entry level

It's almost always a bad idea. You'll burn money while between jobs and can end up eating into savings if the hunt goes longer than expected.
It's not that hard to line up interviews while still working.

Do it, just did the same. Best feeling ever. You can figure out what to do during those 2,5 years.
