how absolutely stupid is it to buy business class tickets from syndey to london.
I have no expenses as I live with my parents. I fly business class through work trips and I can't go back to econ with the plebs. It'll be in a years time, figure I can save 500 a month to spend on it.

You're paying for the existence of airlines with their highest margin product. You literally pay for the plane.
Airlines are the brokest fucking, corporate-welfare scheme ever made and you make it happen.
Go business class, book the ticket as early as possible since you seem to know when your going, its far cheaper than leaving it untill a month or 2 before.
I flew business class only once, its not worth the money if you have to stretch yourself, if not then fucking go for it. Only worth it on long flights though
>from Sydney to London
Nigga at those distances I'd charter a private jet if I could afford it. FUCK flying and FUCK airplanes.
I've flown business class 3 times in the past. Twice with malaysia airlines for work and once with qantas when I was 14 which was paid for my dads work. Recently did a short trip in econ and it was terrible, having to stand in lines with the general masses.
I've never paid for business though, it'd be 6k aud if I buy it now for next june plus I get an instant upgrade to malaysia airlines gold membership which would be nice.
yeah, I couldn't do that trip in econ again.
>paying $6,000 for airfare
I know, it's disgusting.
But the alternative, economy. I can afford too.
If you can afford it, do it
I can’t go back to being stuck in a small seat n the back pain will probably be more expensive later in life
I made 3 round trip flights on a 777 from Chicago to New Delhi which I think was one of the longest routes in the world. I flew cattle class each time and it was absolute hell being on a widebody airliner flanked by Indians on both sides. That I could almost see business class being worth it. If my job had called for flying these ultra long haul routes on a regular basis I would demand business class.
Flew Lufthansa premium economy a few days ago after always having only flown in basic economy. I make trips from the US to Europe all the time (usually AA) and can’t believe how much better this experience was. Might as well have been first class with the great service and meals alone; the personal space was incredible also, for what was really just a slightly higher fare. Basically had my legs kicked fully forward funposting on 4channel for the duration in peace and quiet away from the commoners.
>tfw suddenly too sophisticated for economy
Everyone in business class is either: working when they land so their company pays for it, reward miles, or airline crew. Rich people fly fractional or their own jet. Maybe you'll find some fool who pays sticker price.
One of my favourite bits about business class is during check in and boarding. Getting able to skip all the queues and watching the peasants lining up is a blast.
Ever seen that seinfeld episode? The airport. I always found so much more enjoyable after experiencing bus class
>this auscunt can afford to spend more on a plane ticket than I make in 3 months
just end my life
sorry matey
Get a job in insurance, and don't move out. Good way to save, I've found.
Also consider the exchange rate.
>Also consider the exchange rate.
im a fucking leaf which makes it even worse.
always get the cheapest ticket. Being on a plane always sucks ass. No point wasting money.
sorry to hear friendo, what do you do?
bus class is enjoyable though, "free" drinks and nice service. The comfort is excellent too, makes the flight actually enjoyable.
absolutely the biggest waste of money ever.
if you really wanna burn your dough, buy better hotels + girls when you arrive.
No it doesnt in business you can lay down and sleep. I fly exclusively business for 10+ hr flights. Its expensive as shit but worth it cause economy gives me nightmares
>bus class is enjoyable though, "free" drinks and nice service. The comfort is excellent too, makes the flight actually enjoyable.
It is something that ends in a matter of hours. I agree though that it is like a different mode of transportation compared to economy.
>sorry to hear friendo, what do you do?
excel spreadsheet monkey. im probably going to be replaced by a pajeet sometime in the near future.
Yeah I'm thinking that. I'll have free accommodation though, staying with relatives.
Probably don't want to hear I'm an excel monkey too. I guess insurance is an okay industry to be in.
its look exactly like econ
As an unemployed pos I’ve never had to pay for my own flights and don’t plan to ever have to fly unless my work pays.
It never makes sense to me they let first class on first. I always stall as long as possible and get on at the very last second. Who wants to actually extend the amount of time they have to spend in the plane?
Replaced by robots is more likely
>I want to waste a ton of money so I can sit better
they start serving as soon as you get on the plane so I suppose for drinks
>It never makes sense to me they let first class on first.
Before the heap of people come with their five carry-ons. Also, cabin crew pass out drinks, take orders, etc.
sounds pointless to me. If you want to get liquored up on a plane it's best to buy at the duty free shop but in my experience a high dose benzo is the best long flight experience because you won't remember the trip and just teleport to your destination.
I suppose, it's not like you have to get on first. Lots don't.
Regardless, non econ class is comfortable, it's not bad sitting in the plane an hour longer than normal.
Did a 24 hour trip to Sydney from Amsterdam and in the cattle class it is hell. Stiff legs dry eyes en feeling nauseous. Next time I'm flying business class
