My precious linkies have been stolen from myEtherWallet. I was dumb when I listened to my friend and have accessed it by private key. In my sad attempt to get them back i contacted a company which specializes in "funds recovery" recoverynetwork.tech . They assigned me this "specialist" who is self proclaimed digital bypass expert and he wants 2k upfront. I know this is a scam but please anons if there is anything to be done tell me, so i dont necc myself in a year when link will be 100$.

Please, don't send these guys your money, they are specialized on scamming people that were recently scammed on the big numbers you were scammed on.
Breathe deeply, don't think about an heroing yourself and know that 90% of non-paranoic people were scammed on the crypto world at least once, at varying quantities of money lost.
The father-in-law got into the last bullrun, cashed out at around 20% ROI and decided to throw his profits at some bitconnect knockoff.
I don't need to tell you how this story ended.

Yeah I am slowly coming to terms with it and that there is probably nothing i can do about it. Reporting it to the police will only take time which now could be spent on working to reinvest in link. I am also considering taking a loan since chainlink will surely moon in coming months but i am not yet sure
