I scrww up so much im thinking to just play recklessly and ignore what my instincts are telling me in regards to if its too low or too high of a price for a stock. I mean its only been right a few times regarding stocks.
I refuse to fomo back in. Every single time i do this in regards to a stock i get burned.
Look, if you're holding volatile stocks like ODP, you need to love the stock. If your heart isn't in it, if you can't look at your shares down 30% and smile and it just causes you stress and anxiety, then it's not worth holding. It sounds like you're more or less set to break even. Take this as a cheap learning experience.
fuck mine never got filled, must've set my limit too low, oh well
David Morgan
MNK up 61% feels good you guys are all fags fuck you.
Jason Peterson
since we're early in the bread can you tell us why you're so bullish on ODP? I figured there were another retail grave and never paid them any mind.
Nicholas Gutierrez
up ~263% on my calls feels good and still has much room to go even higher
Nathan Cruz
I actually have zero MNK. I just wanted to announce that since I had some a week ago and sold the same day so I could lock in a gain of 60 dollars USD.
Parker Murphy
I hate myself and am projecting right now this is the life I live.
Adam Scott
I thought it was going to go up except not this fast. Which is partially why i tried making a bit of money by selling calls short term.
not unusual to have -30% drops after earning with TLRD but this time it feels bullish... it will be a gamble pump or dump. my guess is it will pump. long term we should go above 10
Elijah Johnson
TLRD more like TURD
Joseph Scott
it looks like insiders are front running the earnings pump
Jack Brown
Where is the user who was losing 5k on ACB? You made them back now
Liam Richardson
>He soold? >Pomp eet
Carson Myers
FRENS Did Xi finally pay up for some agricultural buys?! Is that what Mnuchin and Pompeo are going to talk about?!?
I guess the moral of the story is that stocks, especially smaller and more volatile stocks, often don't move in steady, presictable patterns. If you can't be happy in the outcome that your calls get exercised, you shouldn't be writing calls. You learned some valuable lessons here without losing money, so consider it a successful investment in yourself if nothing else. On the other hand, if the stock turns around and heads back toward $1.20 next week and stays there, would you be happy that those calls didn't get exercised, or would you instead be lamenting how if only those calls got exercised you could have broken even and gotten out?

Loading up the table before it craps out after earnings
>no iraq war part 3 return of the neocons So oil prices going down is to be expected.
Jose Cook
No war with iran = oil glut
James Myers
Hawks = fuck up the middle east = oil prices go up.
Charles Garcia
I'm in it.. looks to be getting support around .20
.40 will come and thats 100%
Jeremiah Brown
But we are still Israel's lapdogs. We aren't leaving the middle east anytime soon?
Nathan Roberts
Buy the dip in Disney or buy up VXX?
Or should I start buying ETH
Connor Sullivan
Reee my isp sucks. Random internet drops. They already came ny to fix it. Worked temporarily. Then the phone started not receiiving calls again. Now internet is randomly droping
James Jackson
I get that, what I dont get is why we see the drop when we'll still be in the middle east for the forseeable future defending Israel's borders and meddling in the affairs of nearby countries?
Gavin Rodriguez
the occultists are getting impatient as we get closer to friday 13nth
Christopher Harris
>But we are still Israel's lapdogs oh always. We are their goodest of goys owned body and soul in perpetuity. Oils been in a downtrend for awhile, this was just another kick in its ass to push it down even lower.
Nicholas Lee
Sure that’s a Jow Forums perspective though, market includes mostly normies.
Lincoln Price
Iran exports a lot of oil to china and europe in secret, if the US isn't invading they will continue.
Short it. They have a history of dilution and dividend cuts, on top of making no money.
Camden Bell
Bolton got fired.
Easton Long
Alright
Colton Thompson
>shareholder activism has picked up, and calls for effectively taking the company private have surfaced once again. The mere prospect of GameStop deploying its (still rich) cash reserves to aggressively buy back stock, whether it is the right capital allocation move or not, could be enough to send the share price higher irrespective of near-term financial performance. >With the cooling-off of the trade war between the U.S. and China, expectations for an imminent global recession have also taken a back seat. As a result, risk-on investors have started to nibble on stocks that have been severely punished in the recent past, and GME is already up nearly 50% since its mid-August 2019, all-time lows. >Short interest is currently near a three-year peak of almost 60 million shares, representing roughly 57% of the float. Should GameStop report minimally impressive results on Tuesday, a short squeeze could propel share price substantially higher in the next few days.
The stock is incredibly unpredictable even if the quarterly results are the opposite. I would avoid right now unless you fancy a spin of the roulette wheel
Ryder Jones
>Short it. They have a history of dilution and dividend cuts, on top of making no money. this is a bit true... BUT... they already just did some dilution to buy more mortgages.. doing so keeps the dividend going.. the dilution won't be anything in the long run.. they are investing that money straight into vehicles that pay out to share holders...................
