From prev thread: Wasn't going to do this but I decided to roll the dice. Bought an ACB put spread ($6/$5, 9/20 exp) and then bought 10 shares of the stock. My game plan is I expect earnings to miss and stock to dip, I'll sell my put, and then hold the stock/average down until it recovers. If it goes the other way, at least I've offset my put risk by holding shares.
Also bought some AVGO at market open and I'll hold through earnings, option spreads were wide and premiums were too high for my tastes.
I'm actually gonna hold 50% of my folio in ACB calls over earnings, we're near an almost 2 year support line in the $4.60-$4.80 range and it recently broke downtrend. If earnings call goes well then I'm set, if not, it shouldn't take longer than a month for ACB to recover

I'd be careful with that line of thinking, especially when you're gambling on a short time frame with options. The stock has already tumbled quite a lot. Do you think the general public currently has very favorable opinion of GME? Do you think that the earnings for this quarter change the long-term outlook for GME? Do you think there might be some reason why earnings were low more than "Gamestop is a garbage company"?

The artificial earnings run up from $4 to $5 was the most obvious pump for a good shorting position before earnings of all time. I sold my puts first thing this morning because I did think it was oversold. $4.50 will probably be where it hovers until next earnings.
