I've been day trading on and off for a couple years now. I made money on all but 1 of my trades today. I exclusively use TA, I don't even read news headlines to check what's causing a stock to pump. Sure it's chump change but I'm just practicing. 40 bucks profit using tiny positions. I'd make a lot more money if I simply increased my position size because the % gain remains the same.
TA is nothing without risk management. To lose 47% you would have to lose 100 trades in a row with stoploss of o,5 %. TA helps u locate possible entries and exits.

I just backtested that against 4000 trades on the 5 min ethusd mex contract risking 1% kelly on risk management optimised for max drawdown of 30% pic related.

no i didnt. I replicated his strategy here he said bullish engulfings/bearish engulfing works. I just backtested that with this stop loss 2 ticks below the entry candle's low and profit target set to 5x the average candle width for the past 70 candles.
