I actually agree with you, OP, but I would go even further. I was afraid of LINK dying off early 2018 when there was no mainnet, SWIFT was just a promise and no Oracle startups in sight, people half-seriously memed about the Shadowfork as a reason of why big money would never use LINK, amongst other things. Now they have gotten huge enough that if Sergey chokes on a Big Mac and dies, the project will still carry on. I have no fear of it going below $1 or whatever, because the project now can actually stand on its own legs.
