Giving money away

If you become wealthy will you give money to the help others? I probably wont give money to organizations because most goes to administrative costs. But I will probably give it to individuals (kid who need help with fighting cancer or build a homeless shelter where I get homeless people). Would you give money to individuals or organizations and why?

animal shelters and legit environmental causes like planting trees or cleaning oceans, people are assholes but I like animals and nature.

Tbh I'd probably start the organization myself, if I had that much money I may as well occupy my time.

I would give some to kids that need Serious medical treatment and animal rescues. As someone that has done a shit loads of work with shelters and rescues I know that they as always strapped for cash and run solely off of donations.

I would only give money to certain individuals in desperate situations like heavy debt, money for treatment, etc. But, to prevent the money from being misused, I won't ever give the money to the person directly.
